Award winning breast cancer survivor & community activist Leanne Pero set up the Black Women Rising cancer project in 2017, aimed at raising vital cancer awareness within the Black community & provide support for Black cancer patients/ survivors whilst they undergo cancer treatment & experience difficulty in remission. With cancer mortality rates within the BAME community being at an all time high- join Leanne & her inspirational guests explore healthy conversation about the myths, taboos & hardships that surround our community as well as share inspirational stories of hope & transformation.
