Bipolar Black Girl Podcast
A journey through mental health told from the perspective of patients, doctors, parents, children, and caregivers of individuals managing mood disorders. We discuss how receiving a mood disorder diagnosis has impacted their lives and how they manage their symptoms. As someone who lives with Bipolar 1, adhd, Borderline Personality Disorder, OCD, and anxiety, I am highly aware of the stigmas that are associated with such diagnoses. I urge listeners to be open and honest about their own experiences. Continuing the conversation, I believe, is critical to destigmatigmatizing mental health.
