The veil was torn and opened a new and better way to the presence of God. We can go into the presence of God, and we can enter in even if our lives are shaken.

We are called to testify and to bear witness to the truth, not the norms of society. Jesus never wavered from the truth. His mission to testify to the truth culminated in the cross.

"What Did Jesus Do"

We are a chosen people. Our mission is the sharing of the gospel and making disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our faith will be tried and tested. Surround yourself with other believers and remain in His word.

Ever feel like you don’t know enough or are too scared to share your faith? Jesus called his disciples in Acts 1 not to be apologists or professional debaters, but witnesses: those who told their story of what Jesus did in their lives. We are under the blood of the lamb of God. Every day remember and celebrate your salvation in Jesus.

Jesus is the light that has overcome the darkness. Because of Jesus, there is no need to fear darkness.

Be in the light of the sun and do not let the darkness of the shadow of death prevail over you. The light of Jesus shines to bring you out of the clutches of the lies of the serpent.

The coming of Jesus is referred to as the great light of the son. If we are not seeing the light of Jesus Christ every day, in the most ordinary things, we need to be moved by the Spirit.

Even for Christians, there can be a pull back to darkness. With faith and repentance, look to the sun of righteousness who bore your sin on the cross.

Bring whatever it is into the light where there is forgiveness, pardon, and mercy. Jeremiah alluded to Jesus the rising son: his mercies are new every morning.

The Lord is the author of everything, all that we have comes from his hand. Giving back to his work with tithes and offerings, that is thanks in action.

See Jesus. In all creation, when you wonder, see Jesus. He is mindful and cares for you.

Believers in Jesus are persecuted around the entire world: burned buildings, kidnappings, imprisonments, and even death. It’s one thing to be aware of the believers who are persecuted around the world. It’s entirely different to pray for those suffering believers. Today we remember those who are persecuted and pray that God would be glorified even in their suffering.

Remember we were slaves to sin, but in Jesus, we have been redeemed. When the pull to go back comes, turn to Jesus.

Remember we are God's dearly loved children fulfilling His word and putting it into practice in our lives.

On your best day you're a child of God, and on your worst day you're a child of God. From the rising of the sun until the setting of the same - the name of the Lord is to be praised.

We continue the theme of being stuck and getting unstuck. But what if you're stuck because you have made good decisions, and you've been obedient to the word of God?

Often times, we get stuck because of a bad decision or a series of bad decisions. There is hope to get unstuck. He paid for sin, and He knew the human condition.

The Scripture gives us a road map of what a believer ought to do in time of trouble. The widow took her burden to the man of God, and exercised great faith to obey God's word.
