John the Baptist, the wilderness prophet, struggles being confined in prison. His view of Jesus and life is skewed by his circumstances and seeks clarification from the Savior on who is "The One." Satan wants us offended and broken, but Jesus sees our hearts even in the dark times and attempts to minister from afar to John's heart.

In the story of the Widow in Luke 7, Jesus shows that He is moved by faith and compassion.

Luke has described Jesus' authority in a multiplicity of areas. Today, we hear of His ability to heal even when He's not present in body. Jesus changes everything and He can do anywhere.
