Will This Ever Get Any Better? | Podcast Jan 18 | Awareness with Ashley 18.01.2023

People don't realize the mental toll IIH and migraines and other chronic illnesses can take on a person when their life suddenly changes. This is a question that I had at many points in my own journey too. I offer this topic today as a sign of hope but the answer to this question is complicated.   Disclaimer: This content contains very serious subjects and if you are struggling, it may n...

When it comes to chronic illness, being introverted or extroverted will change how you approach social situations. One of the biggest things you will hear when you have a chronic illness is "but if you just got out more". Being introverted can make this statement apply even less than it already does.  #live #chronicillness #awareness #iih #migraines #introvert #extrovert    Want mor...

In this episode, I'm going to be talking about my reasons why and what I want people without chronic pain to understand about this.    #live #chronicillness #awareness #iih #migraines #pain #chronicpain   Want more content like behind the sce...

Why Meditation Is Such A Huge Priority? | Ashley Stuart | Weekly Live Show 01.12.2022

Whenever I talk about why I am doing well with migraines, I often credit my medication that I'm on which is critical, but there's one thing that I should be crediting that I often don't even ever mention. That is my meditation practice. I do meditation for far more reasons than helping manage my chronic illness, but I'm going to get into why I think this tool is just as important to emphasize as m...

Work Takes So Much Out of Me | Ashley Stuart | Weekly Live Show 23.11.2022

Hey everyone! I am so thankful to be able to work right now but it doesn't come without some tough days and it doesn't come to me as easily as it looks to those who don't know me that well. In this live, I'm going to be talking about how work affects me in ways that you'll only ever hear me talk about on my social media pages.  #live #chronicillness #awareness #work #fatigue #notaseasyasitloo...

The Delicate Balance of Explaining What Migraines Are Like 26.10.2022

Explaining life with migraines is a delicate balance of trying to explain how difficult it can be along with downplaying in certain circumstances to avoid intrusive questions. I tend to find myself downplaying migraines more often than the opposite but unless I can talk about the nuance, it always feels like you're leaving out important information.  Want more content like behind the scenes,...

The Only Thing That Is Constant In Life Is Change | Weekly Live Show 19.10.2022

One of the biggest insights I have had with my life with chronic illness is that all bad days pass. Along with that, the only thing that is constant, even with chronic illness is change.  Want more content like behind the scenes, daily updates, access to messaging and a community where we can connect? What I Would Tell Myself At The Start Of This Journey 05.10.2022

Hindsight is 20/20 right, well, here's some of the things I would say to myself at the start of this journey with IIH and migraines. I've done a similar video to this already on my YouTube channel, but I think it's time to do an update.
