At the Movies with William Fletcher

Trying something different for this week's episode as I compile some of my reactions from the show with my overall thoughts of the show at the end. Headphone users, be careful. 

One of the longest episodes to date where I cover the Best Picture nominees for this year's Oscars ceremony as well as a few other nominees from this year. 

The final major awards ceremony before the Oscars on the 28th with my thoughts on them as well as a quick look at the Critics Choice Awards. 

Despite some bad audio, I hope you enjoy me talking about the Danny Boyle directed 127 Hours. 

Once again I discuss the films that I watched in the past month albeit with some crap audio this time. 

Continuing on with me talking about awards shows that mean nothing, I go through the SAG Awards with my opinions on the winners as well as the potential Oscars future.

This is the first episode of what could be many more where the podcast is expanded to covering more than just films starting with the Contrapoints video essay, Opulence. 

For the first annual Valentine's Day special, I decided to cover a film that I had heard about for a few years and I got a couple of friends to help me go through this film. We get into some funny discussions as well as some very inappropriate discussions so viewer discussion is advised.  

Rounding out the episodes covering major awards nominations, we finish up with some discussion on this year's Oscar nominations.

The return of William's Lists with me covering my top 10 Animated Films of all time which I teased in last weeks episode. Apologies for some of the editing and audio problems that might occur.

This covers my overall thoughts on the BAFTA nominations as well as predicted winners and my personal choices for the awards. Apologies for the audio problems as this was recorded without the usual set up.

Continuing in my series of covering the films I watched in the past month with the first one of 2022 covering what I watched in January. 

This week will be an episode with just me covering a 90s classic, The Lion King with a brief touch on the 2019 remake.

To coincide with the release of the sequel as well as being released on the one year anniversary episode of the podcast, I decided to cover Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse with an OG member of the podcast. This episode is certainly one of my most chaotic episodes yet with some mental tangents and audio quality but some great humor as well. 

This week's episode goes into the 2014 Whiplash as well as the short film which the film was adapted from. Covering topics from depression to what makes a life meaningful to even Tinder towards the end. 

My reactions to this years Screen Actors Guild Award nominations and a quick touch on the BAFTA longlists that came out the same night. 

The Golden Globes 2022 were today. Here are my thoughts on the winners and what it means for the future awards ceremonies including the Oscars. 

This week's episode will be covering the seminal zombie film of the earlier 2000s, 28 Days Later as well as it's sequel 28 Weeks Later with some spotty bits of audio occasionally. Apologies in advance.

While audio troubles continue to plague me and this podcast, I hope that that doesn't deter you from listening to the first episode of the podcast in 2022 covering the films I watched in the last month. Apologies for audio issues as I will consistently say in every episode with them present.

This episode will be covering multiple films in this Review of the Year where myself and my guest look over the best of film and TV in the year of 2021. The longest episode I have ever done that is over 3 hours long. 

Starting a new segment for this podcast where I go through major awards ceremonies and nominations with my opinions on the nominees as well as what I think should've been nominated and what I think will win. This episode was recorded in a new area without my proper set up so apologies for the less than stellar audio quality. 

The planned episode for this week had to be delayed to next week so this week I decided to improvise and discuss the film Citizen Kane. Discussing my history of the film as well as my opinion on the film.

The third episode covering a film/TV show combo, this time on Buffy the Vampire Slayer with my thoughts on the pretty poor film and the outstanding TV show.
