Ashamed of Thrones

The season 2 finale was disappointing to say the least. Maybe the early success of season 1 gave the show runners a big head.

The boys limp their way through a couple of unremarkable episodes, save for the dragon riding tryouts.

Some episodes have dragons, some are just place setting for a future pay off. Let’s hope Daemon’s hand falls off.

Sorry we are a day(many) late and a dollar short, be we're back to brief and ignorant talk about the first two episodes of House of The Dragon, Season 2

Welp, this is it. Season one of House of The Dragon comes to an end. This show is better than it had any right to be, but the boys still have a few gripes about the final entry.

Brian thinks this is a 'whacky' episode. Doug thinks it is a 'crappy' episode. Either way, we're in for a good time talkin Episode 9, 'The Green Party.'

Kid fight! Things have gotten a little out of hand between The Princess and The Queen and battle lines have been drawn.

We do The Time Warp yet again. New actors everywhere and we say goodbye to some old friends.

Sir Criston Cole’s been a bad, bad boy and we all have to clean up his mess.

Brian and Doug grudgingly agree that this wasn't the best episode of House of The Dragon, despite the rampant nudity and incest.

Nothing at all is wrong with Brian this week as HOT D kick it up a notch and delivers a very solid second episode.

The show continues to go off the rails in the second to last episode of the series, 'The Bells.' Most of the outcomes of this huge battle are fine, it is just the horrible way we arrive at the various destinations that is the problem. Also, an exclusive interview!

Ah, the malaise of a life foolishly spent watching a TV show about dragons. Everything seems random, pointless, and unsatisfying. ...the music was nice.

Well, that was a spectacle, but it all felt rather ...empty. So..the good guys win, the bad guys are bad...because they just are. Maybe the last three episodes can redeem this show, but right now, Ian McShane seems to have had the right of it. This show may just be "tits and dragons." ...damn.

Bad news, Brian and Doug break up on this episode of the podcast. On the bright side, they both loved this episode of Game of Thrones, ‘A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms.’ Also, we rated it 4.5 out of 5.0 It is a 10 point scale …in .5 increments …can’t round up, etc
