I intended to discuss the new SEC Football scheduling. However, I end up discussing a message I got from a listener who asked why I play so many commercials. Well, the easy answer is, that's how I make money. But, lets dive a little deeper into this.

I got a random text from an unknown, probably fake, phone number. This person who texted feels that I'm a hypocrite. Why? Well, it's because I rip people for being nostalgic about ESPN and Sports Center when I myself are nostalgic about things. Wow, what a concept.

The last week of inane commentary on male cheerleaders and Cracker Barrel have hammered home a belief I've held for a long time...snowflakes are everywhere. I get that snowflake is a term usually reserved for liberals. But, recently, these right wing MAGA types are really showing their true snowflake colors. Perhaps practice what you preach?

I know we've talked about this before and I know it's only preseason. But, Jaxson Dart is going to be a rock star in the league. I was watching the Prime broadcast last night and Al Michaels kept talking about how the Giants have 4 quarterbacks and some teams have none. Ehhhh...I wouldn't say that.

Rich Eisen returned to SportsCenter and popped a big rating Monday night. This has led people to write stories about how ESPN nostalgia runs deep and could be lucrative. I disagree. Don't be fooled by one night.

I started the new Cowboys doc on Netflix. I can't really tell you if it's good or not because I fell asleep about 15 mins in. I love Jerry Jones. We need more fun owners.

The Colts QB coach has explained to the media why internet darling Anthony Richardson is not the teams starter. It's wild to me that this continues to be such a big story. I guess it's polarizing.

According to a Gallup poll, people are drinking less alcohol because they don't see any medical benefit. No shit. It's booze. The benefit is that it's tasty and a few drinks can make you more likeable. Duh.

The Colts have named Daniel Jones starting QB. Daniel Jones sucks. We know this. The internet is extremely upset that Anthony Richardson didn't get the gig. I've never seen a guy treated like Richardson. The internet and most media people view him as almost a charity case.

I intended to discuss the Colts and Browns naming their starting QB's. Instead, I go off on the Saints QB's. The organization is truly a mess.

It wasn't the prettiest game ever. But, last nights Tigers/Astros game was a great watch. Usually, I'm not a big baseball guy. I used to love it. But, I usually find myself bored by it. That wasn't the case last night.

This is not shocking, but after Alabama banned cell phones from schools, teachers are reporting positive results. What was life like when we weren't addicted to our phones? Also, kids were having heart issues at a Tennessee school, so the school banned energy drinks. I'm fairly certain energy drinks almost killed me.

Coach O made the Barstool rounds yesterday and expressed interest in a return to coaching. Yes, please. Could Coach O get big time Head Coaching job? What would he accept?

The Oklahoma Sooners are giving fans the opportunity to buy their way into press conferences. Why would anyone spend $700 to watch a presser? Maybe I'm off base...But, this is dumb.

The right wing media dudes have had quite a time ridiculing ESPN's Monica McNutt. If you don't know, McNutt works for ESPN and may have no clue who Barry Sanders is. But, I'm not totally convinced that's the case. Let's go to the tape!

I was watching Joe Burrow run for his life last night and decided that Zac Taylor has a very good chance of being the first coach fired this NFL season. Lets take a look at the odds. Also, how is it possible that the Bengals, who have an all-world QB, have the exact same problems they had last year?

I love stories about people getting scammed by celebrities. It sucks that they get scammed. But, they are morons who believe famous people need their money. This guy, from Ohio, got scammed by someone he thought was Jelly Roll.

I'm aware it's not the regular season, but yesterday was the first beer drinking, football bettin' Sunday in our house. Jilly doesn't think I'll be able to survive full on Sunday ragers with having to wake up at 4am. I beg to differ. I have an example of someone leaving an inane comment on one my pics.
