In Matthew 26, we come down to the final few days in the life of Jesus, the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane, His arrest, and fake trial. Under pressure, Peter denies Jesus. How will you do under pressure?

In Matthew 25, there are several key themes: be ready for the second coming of Jesus, there is going to be a separation, and all are not going to heaven. Are you ready for the second coming? Are you on your way to heaven?

In Matthew 24, the disciples ask Jesus when the end of the age will come. Jesus answers them and tells us what the world will be like at the end of the age. He says He is coming again. Do you believe Him?

In Matthew 22, the religious leaders of His day, Pharisees and Sadducees, question Jesus. Do you have questions for Jesus?

Matthew 21 is the beginning of Passion Week, the final week of Jesus’ life, the triumphant entry into Jerusalem. The chapter finishes with a question from Jesus, “Have you never read in the Scriptures” (v. 42). If He asks you, what will your answer be?

Matthew 20 describes a situation in scripture I never liked. I thought it was unfair. What do you think?

In Matthew 19, Jesus discusses divorce, and whether good deeds can save souls. What do you think about divorce? What does Jesus think about divorce?

In Matthew 18, we learn about the faith of children, guardian angels, and forgiveness. Do you have childlike faith? Do believe in angels? Do you forgive easily?

Matthew 17 contains the transfiguration of Jesus, hints about His coming death, burial, and resurrection, and giving to the local church. Do you support a local church by your attendance, your involvement, and your giving?

In Matthew 16, Jesus asks, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” (v. 13). Then He gets personal, “But who do you say that I am?” (v. 15). Who is Jesus to you?

In Matthew 15, Jesus roughs up the Pharisees, heals a Gentile, and feeds four thousand by using what the disciples had. Do you offer God what you have, or complain about what you do not have?

Today, we see Jesus getting away from the crowds to have time alone with His heavenly Father. If He thought it was important to do so, should we? Do you have unhurried, uninterrupted time with God daily?

Today, we are in Matthew 13, the Parable of the Sower. This chapter also makes it very clear all are not on the road to heaven. Are you?

In Matthew 12, Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath not the prince of demons. He verifies the story of Jonah and the whale and covers the unforgivable sin. Do you know the only unforgivable sin? Have you committed it?

Matthew 11 is about John the Baptist and the busyness of life. Are you tired of the turbocharged pace of life? Need rest? Find it in Jesus.

Jesus gives His disciples authority. They go out with it and suffer persecution. Jesus reminds them and us, “I have not come to bring peace, but a sword” (Matthew 10:34). Who are you warring with over spiritual matters?

In Matthew 9, Jesus demonstrates authority over the physical. Do you need His healing touch? Do you believe He is able?

Matthew 8 is filled with miracles performed by Jesus, yet at the end, people ask Jesus to leave. Have you experienced the power of God, yet pushed Him away?

Today brings us to Matthew 7, judge not, ask, seek and find, the narrow gate, and the golden rule. Do you have a judgmental spirit? I did, and God is softening it. Can He soften you?

Today, we are in Matthew 6, the conclusion of the Sermon on the Mount, the Lord’s Prayer, and how to handle anxiety. Do you worry? Be anxious for nothing.

Matthew 5 is the beginning of the Sermon on the Mount, which includes the Beatitudes. See which one touches your heart the most today. What could you change to live in closer alignment with these biblical declarations?

In Matthew 4, Jesus is tempted by Satan himself. How did He respond? Do you respond the same way when tempted?

Matthew 3 describes the baptism of Jesus. Notice the appearance of all three personalities of the Trinity at this amazing event. Why did Jesus get baptized by John the Baptist anyway?

Did the wise men really show up on that first Christmas morning? Is the typical manger scene with them in it, a true representation of the biblical account of the birth of Jesus?
