Do we need God's wisdom, his protection, his covering over our life? James 1:5 says that we can ask and that God is faithful to hear. We come to God literally empty and ask for divine intervention in our time of need. (Isaiah 4:6)

Have you ever wondered if God can use you? The answer to that question is, YES! You are valuable to Jesus and to His church. He can use you, so don't count yourself out.

Ezra was a scribe who had his heart set on the Word of God. We too, should set our hearts like he did. When we study, obey and teach the Word, we will discover its incredible transformation power in our lives and in the lives of others.

It is time to revisit the Passover. Jesus being the lamb that took away the sins of the world. It was his sacrifice and the shedding of His blood that was placed upon our hearts. We are free of sin and bondage! Let's leave it behind Run into His arms and rejoice that we are free. Be full of joy like those who celebrate the feast of Unleavened Bread. Pure Joy!

The Lord wants us to consider our ways. To consider if our goals line up with the Lord's goals. To consider if our spiritual priorities are in order. If we don't, we end up living the futile way of life. Let's break out of futility and align our ways with His! Sermon Series: Sacred Ground

Church, this is what it looks like to "fight like a mother." Like a "mama bear." You FEND by guarding, and defending, and you Fight like crazy ON YOUR KNEES! But then you need to go on the offensive and train others to "fight like a mother," too! The more people we have in the fight, the better off the church will be!

We know that opposition comes when breaking ground on what God has asked us to do. But what happens when the opposition turns into accusation? Today, we discover the strategy of accusation and how to respond to it.

As we work on building our temples, we will inevitably face oppositoin. When we do, it will require that we use discernment to expose the plan of the enemy so we can stand our ground.

Continuing with our Ezra service, today we meet some men who are seriously unimpressed with the foundation, because they had seen what the temple used to be. The problem was, the were building by the ruins. And because of that, they weren't able to see the greater work that God was doing.

The altar was an Old Testament place of sacrifice and consecration. But what if I told you the altar is still relevant today? We, too, come to the altar. It is the altar of the cross, where Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for you and me.

This Easter as we take a look at the resurrection, we discover a man who failed miserably in the middle of it all. Peter made a mess that he couldn't fix. But we discover the cross and the empty tomb were more than enough to bring forgiveness, restoration and freedom not only to Peter's life, but to ours as well.

As we continue building on Sacred Ground, we discover that God has every resource we will ever need. But even so, He invites us to partner with Him by making an investment in the process. In this message, we will discover the importance of our investment in our growth.

The journey to Sacred Ground isn't an easy one . If we are going to experience the fullness God has for us, we need to leave behind the comfort zone and answer His call to come up higher.

We naturally look at the timeline of history through the lens of our own life. History is what came before us and the future is what comes after us. What if we did more than just live for today? What if God were to use our lives as a prequel for someone else's story? Today, we will discover how God used Daniel's life to impact the king who released God's people into their destiny.

We are believing that God is going to break ground in lives this year. It is encouraging to hear the stories of how He is at work. We know that Jesus is able to do all things. But do you believe that He is able to work in your life? Today's message challenges us with that simple question: when it comes to YOUR life, is He able? 

When we partner with the spirit of God to maintain the soil of our heart and mind, and keep the conditions favorable for the seed to grow.  Then the overflow that comes from us will drop new seed on new ground all around us.

Continuing on with the parable of the sower, Jesus tells us that the third ground is one that is overwhelmed with thorns that are chocking out the plant. If we are going to see growth, we've got to deal with them. So, let's learn how to clear out the thorns.

As we continue the parable of the sower, today we look at the rocky ground.  With rocky ground, something happens on the surface, but a root system is never established.  We will examine what it takes to prepare the soil for good spiritual roots in our lives.

In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus told a story of four types of ground. Three of them prevented the work of God from happening in a person's life. Today, we look at the hardened path and discover what we need to do for that ground to be broken.

God is calling us to break ground this year.  Hosea 10:12 tells us to break up fallow ground.  But there are some destructive lies that are standing in the way of that happening: I can do it my way with my warriors.  If we are going to break ground, we have to move from MY to YOUR.

There is a ground that has been trod over the course of our lives. That ground has within it unhealthy places that present problems. Over time, we try to deal with the symptoms, but in doing so, we just make the ground harder. This year, God has called us to break that ground and discover the true deliverance of the Lord.

As we recognize Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, it is important to know the value that God places on human life.  We find in Jeremiah 1:5 how God feels about each one of us.  We are known.  We were formed.  We have a purpose.

The word of God is not a temporary fix. We need to be declaring the Word over our life, because there is power in our words. Let's declare life over ourselves; let's declare what God says about us; let's declare Truth. 

Communion and New Year 2023

When Jericho falls, it would be natural to rush in and plunder the city and then move on with our lives.  Not so fast.  When God delivers Jericho into our hands, we to recognize that some things are an offering, some things are destroyed, and some things are redeemed.  It is important that we continue to follow the Lord's lead even after the walls fall down.
