As we begin this first month of the year, let's consider this question "Is God first?" As Christians, we know the answer should be yes, but what does that look like? And what happens when "God first" makes its way into the most practical areas of our life?

This has been a year of breaking ground. In today's passage, we read that we are to press on with the work God has begun in us. We must persist, pursue, and protect if we are going to the fullness of what God can do in our lives.

The angel said "peace on whom his favor rests." So who does his favor rest on? It's anyone who has received the free gift of God's grace and surrendered their life to him. That is where peace comes from! If you have received Jesus, you can receive peace.

Your posture has a lot to do with your outcome. In today's message, we learn that we can posture ourselves for victory through Jesus. If you are living defeated, it's time to change your posture.

There are so many voices vying for our attention. As Christians, we need to be able to discern what voices to listen. In this message, we will discover that God not only gives us the ability to discern the voice of the enemy, He gives us the power to over him.

As we continue our Breaking Through series, John shows us an important truth about love: it isn't really love unless there is action to it. In other words, love doesn't just say something, it does something. The same principle is true when contending for breakthrough. There is an action required on our part.

Aligning our identity is critical for breakthrough. So often, people stay stuck because they don't believe they are worth being unstuck. When we align our identity with who God says we are, we start living like people who are breaking through.

There is an all-out assault on the person of Jesus Christ and His church. It is more than an argument or an opinion; it is the spirit of antichrist. In this message, we discover what that is and how to combat it so that we can experience breakthrough.

The devil has been playing the same tricks forever. He wants to get you to love the world and he uses three simple strategies: lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and pride of life. This message is a call to beware the world and expose the strategy of the enemy.

All of us have blind spots. We don't like to admit it and we probably don't even know what they are. But they need to be addressed if we are going to see breakthrough. In today's message, we learn to discover those blind spots in our life.

When we sin, we don't have to fear rejection from God because we have an Advocate in the person of Jesus. He stands before the throne and speaks on our behalf. Because of this, we are free to experience the breakthrough that God has available for us.

When it comes to sin, we tend to believe the lie that we can keep it hidden in the dark and no one will know. We are deceived into thinking it's not that big of a deal. But Breaking Through requires that things are brought into the light. It is in the light where we become who God has created us to be and live how he has created us to live.

In this series, we will continue to dive into our theme for the year, "Break Ground." Today's message reminds us that Jesus broke through into our world and He can break through in every situation we face.

Go and live authentic, imperfect, messy lives before a broken world so that others may see Jesus redeem and transform you into His image. Giving them HOPE that He too can redeem and transform them too. Be Real. With yourself, With God, With others.

This week we recognize the influence God has given us. Recognize His Authority and His Promise.

God is calling each of us as Christians to take the city! That city could be Orting, this region, your family, or any sphere of influence you may have. Taking the city will require that we step up to the plate and pursue what God has in store for us. And it all starts with getting our mindset right. Join us as we Take the City!

God calls his people to be separate. We are a chosen people, set apart as holy to the Lord. When we mix in the way of the world, things don't work out the way they should. Today's message is a call to return to being separate the way God intended.

Are you running short on resources? I've got good news for you: God's resources never run out. When he calls us to something, His resources will be there to accompany that calling. He will even move the heart of kings on our behalf.

Today we look further into what Paul as a spiritual father has instructed to us. To be strong in the Lord and in his might. To teach and leave a legacy. To stay on mission and remain kingdom minded. To walk in integrity, and to work hard as your work unto the Lord in everything we do.
