Jericho must fall! God's battle plans to take down Jericho were anything but conventional. However, they are the perfect plans for taking down the walls we face. In today's message, we learn four valuable strategies for defeating the walls of Jericho in our own lives.

The walls of Jericho are imposing, daunting, overwhelming, intimidating. Our army of resources can't touch it. But it is no match for the Lord's armies! In today's message, we discover the help we have in heaven's armies as we face our Jericho walls.

When God calls us to obedience he will move ahead of us on our behalf. Obedience requires us to surrender to God's ways.  Obedience defeats shame, and God activates our new identity.  Obedience unlocks Gods promises for our lives.

In our quest to topple Jericho, it is important that we remember God's faithfulness that got us here. Because the memories will not only build our faith for the fight, they will also stand as a record of his goodness for generations to come. When the miraculous happens, God does all the work. All he asks of us to REMEMBER.

On this side of the Jordan, life isn't great, but it is familiar. On the other side is where the harvest is. It is where Jericho stands. We can't face Jericho until we cross the river. And to do that, we must fully commit to the crossing.

As we pursue the fall of Jericho, we sometimes step into a mess.  When that happens, it feels hopeless and frustrating.  But if we look closer, we'll discover that when God is involved, there is movement in the mess. Sermon Series: Jericho Must Fall

As we conclude our study of the book of Hebrews, we find this simple prayer “May the God of peace equip you…” We all want to be equipped by God, but what does it mean to be equipped by the God of peace? Come discover the power of peace today!

A long time, God told Moses to build a Tabernacle with very detailed specificications. It turns out, the Tabernacle was a replica of the real thing in heaven, where Jesus serves as the High Priest. Have you ever just had enough!?!   You just can't take it anymore.  I think God has had enough... of us feeling like we aren't enough.  Feeling like we are bound to the pursuit of money and man's approval.  It's time to say enough to all of that and allow God to be the One who is more than enough!

The struggles of life and faith can be all consuming. We get entrenched in our own problems or worries and often get stuck in those places. In today's text, the author of Hebrews calls us to get beyond ourselves and get into the trenches with others who are struggling. Because when there is a fire, we need firefighters on the scene!

When our faith is under fire, it can shake us to the core. When things around us crumble, feelings of fear, doubt, anxiety and worry start to creep in. Here in Hebrews 12, the author of Hebrews reminds us that we are part of an unshakable kingdom. And when we partner with that unshakable kingdom, we become an unshakable people.

Don't let the root of bitterness find a foothold in your life.  Pray for those that have offended you.  Be filled with God's love.  Forgive.

Do we want to experience strength in the struggle? Then it's time we CONSIDER Jesus, what He has done for us, in us and through us. We need to allow ourselves to be CORRECTED by Him, to learn, to make changes as he empowers us. And we need to be CONFIDENT in Him. He is the one who gives us strength. 

Walking with God is a great joy that also requires great work.
