A Sure Hope

When you spend time in a public space, you might be fooled into thinking people are content. Looks of joy and pleasure are everywhere. But, it’s only a temporary high. The indulgences of this world make great distractions, but as Pastor Dave warns in today’s message, many of those people are lost and miserable in their lack of purpose.

Too many of us are walking around in a depressed, zombie-like daze. Jesus saved your soul! He not only secured your eternal salvation, but He has rescued you from the chains of sin. As Pastor Dave encourages us in today’s message, you have good reason for joy, and your life should reflect that.

Jesus says to come to Him with all your hurts, troubles, pain, and sin. He will give you forgiveness and rest, and cleanse you as white as snow.

When each member uses the gifts they have received from the Spirit and work together as united children of God, the world sees Christ!

People should be able to tell by the evidence displayed within your life, that you spend time with Jesus and are following His ways.

You need to show conviction, and that you truly believe what it is you are sharing. Don't be timid, speak with boldness!

His Spirit dwells within you and empowers you to be bold. People will believe in Jesus, by your obedience to go and share His name, with others!
