February is our Month of Sequels again this year. We already did the David Cronenberg version of The Fly and gave it high marks, so we thought we'd give the sequel a spin.

We enjoying chatting about this odd little movie that should make a bit more sense than it does. The spirit of a dead prom queen haunts and possesses poor Vanessa to avenge her death...or something.

This 1950s-style monster movie from the 90's was such a staple of our childhoods that we were reluctant to tackle it for so long because we are both so familiar with it. But in the end we were happy to revisit it in all its B-movie glory. Thanks again for the request!

Kicking off Request Month is this request from long-time listener, Karthik. We enjoyed having a rare political discussion (don't worry folks, we don't get too deep) and dissecting this film that made bank at the box office and spawned a few sequels and a TV show. We're happy to treat to you this long-lost slasher film with all the trimmings: cheesy 80's music, hilarious over-the-top gore effects, laughable acting, and ridiculous writing. Whip it out to wake up your relatives during the post-turkey food coma phase of your celebration. Just remember, everyone: That isn't cranberry sauce!

Stuart Gordon sure has the market cornered on killer doll movies. This more or less kicked off a line of low-budget features in the same vein that would sit on video shelves for decades.

We varied a bit on our final assessment of this admittedly classic haunted house story, starring the incomparable Karen Black and Bette Davis. But you'll want to listen primarily to hear Greg gush over Bette Davis.

Jeepers Creepers 3 sprung on us suddenly last year, seemingly out of nowhere. With a limited release in theaters for one day only, and an almost immediate release on VOD, we had high hopes for this film, based on the previous two. Sadly, we had to join the chorus of mixed reviews. But admittedly, it's complicated.  Major thanks to the many people who requested this one as we wrap up request month!

Normally we would wait until winter time to review a film about Nazi snow zombies, but we got several requests for this one. So we decided to throw it up during request month. And we both agree that this one is even better than the original.
