World According To Noah

Well, this week didn't go as planned. I tried to talk about the super bowl, but Noah is not a big sports person, so he was not into this at all. I tried to change things up a little at the end and talk some Valentines facts. Needless to say, this is a bit of a roller coaster ride of an episode. I hope you can find a little bit of enjoyment in it anyway. Have a great week. Don't forget you can alwa...

This week we talk about the wonderful time we had camping in the cold this past weekend. Then we talk about the winter Olympics. We talk about the events ranked by least dangerous to most. We then talk about some strange events from the past and present. Maybe after you listen, as long as you listen soon enough, you can catch a few of the Olympic games and cheer on your favorite country. Anyway, I...

Since today is the day before the Chinese New Year, we have a short talk about that and where is said to have come from. Next, we talk about a few facts that are kind of weird. Then we close it out with a little video game talk. Hope you enjoy the episode and have a great week.

So, this week we are coming out of another illness, but we were able to get out and enjoy the nice cold Alabama weather this weekend. Noah picked up a new skill of orienteering (not sure how much he liked that one) and we got to go out and do a little bird watching. So, we talk about all that and we also talk about a very interesting person from Japan, Kane Tanaka. Hope you enjoy this episode and...

Well, we decided since I get one year older this week, we would look back at things that happened and were popular way back in the year I was born. I'm not going to type it here cause then you would see how old I really am. Anyway, get into this time machine and look at a few things from the year this old man was born in. Hope you have a great week.

Well, this week Noah is a bit under the weather but we couldn't disappoint our fans, So Noah doesn't talk a lot in this one, but I tell him about some major things that happened this week in history. I will have to say I was WAY off on something. I hope people read this before they listen. Ford had raised their wage to 5 dollars for an 8-hour day and I said they made more than I did at my first jo...

So, for our first podcast of the year, I just asked Noah a series of questions to see where he is at these days. We talk about some of his favorite things and a few things he doesn't like. Hope you enjoy the first pod of the year and thanks for listening.

This week you guessed it we talk about different New Year's Eve traditions. We can't let a holiday pass by without talking about how they celebrate it in other countries. I would love to say thank you to the people out there that have listened to us this year...

Well for this year's Christmas Extravaganza we had a special guest. Noah's mom joins us. I dug and found some more Christmas traditions you probably have not heard of. Noah and his mom play a game to see who knows traditions better. I did find some kind of dark Christmas things that we talk about at the end of the pod. We close it out talking about some of the traditions we have and what we did gr...

We talk about a few of our own and try to find some new ones to add (I don't think we found one) Have a listen to see if there is something interesting that you might want to add to your tradition list this year. Have a great week

Well, it finally happened. We recorded a full podcast complete with a table full of guests (our family) We did Brach's candy corn challenge again with updated turkey dinner. We also did a full Coke taste test. Oh well there was some interference in the whole thing so we had to scrap it. So, in this edition we talk about some of that stuff and a couple of current events. We found some pretty cool s...

Well can you believe that it is Thanksgiving week already? So, this week we revisit fun thanksgiving facts. I listened to last year's pod and I hope we didn't repeat too many of the facts. I know there is at least one surprise in there. (A popular Christmas song that didn't start that way) Anyway I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and have a great week. Thanks for listening.

This week we discuss random acts of kindness. We talk about a few stories then we go to reddit and see discuss some videos and some stories from there. Hope this gives you some inspiration to do something nice for someone else. Have a great week.

We also talk about a few movies and a play we watched this week and All Saints Day. So there is a little bit of everything in this weeks podcast. Hope you enjoy.

We also recap what we did for the month of October and talk about what was our favorite things. Then to finish up October we talked about Harry Houdini (since he died on Halloween) Noah knew the name Houdini but didn't know who he was so we did...

Well for this years Halloween Extravaganza we started off with some short stories(not real ones) from Germany. A few were Grimm fairy tales so you might recognize some of them. Next we tell a very short version of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. We talk about where the story came from and if Ichabod was a real person or not. Then we wrap up with some spooky tales from all over the US. Most of them yo...

I hope you are not tired of the haunted episodes yet. This week we visited some of the haunted attractions near our hometown. Now we did visit these places during the day so we didn't get to see any real hauntings but we got to hear stories. We had a good time checking these places out. We ended the night at a haunted attraction close to our house called Insanitarium and Noah had a blast. Hope you...

So this week we did something a little different. We noticed that a lot of the downloads for last weeks episode were from other countries. So we decided to try and tell ghost stories from those different cities. Now I do have to apologize as I'm sure my pronunciation of a lot of these names and places was butchered really bad but we tried. Anyway if you have a favorite ghost story sent it to us (w...

So it is the beginning of the haunted season so what better than to have a pod where we talk about a few haunted stories from Alabama. Some of these I had heard before but some of these were new to me. Give it a listen and learn about some haunted spots you can see here in Alabama. Hope you enjoy and have a great week.

This week we are a little all over the place. The main topic of this week was going to be Noah's campout with the Boy Scouts. We had a little incident after he got off the bus that had us talk about bullying. It wasn't anything bad but we talked about it so that he knows that he should always talk to somebody about issues. Bullying is no joke these days and just make sure your kids know they have...

This week since the Paralympics recently wrapped up we discussed a couple of the amazing athletes that competed in the games. We also wrap up Noah's discussion about the latest update to Fortnight. Hope everyone has a great week.

I will go ahead and warn you if you are not a Fortnight fan this might not be the episode for you but who knows you might enjoy hearing a super excited Noah talk about his first live event. So this week Noah logged on to Fortnight for the live event Operation: Skyfire. So after we talk about the rest of our week it is all Noah telling about what happened and what he is hoping comes from it. If you...
