So, we just got back from our trip to New York. It was fun but went too fast. We saw a lot of sights and tried some new things. The two bad parts about this trip was there was no snow and all of us ended up getting ill at the end of the trip. That seems to be how it goes for us here lately. Maybe we need to go back on some trips to the woods and away from as many people. Give it a listen and hear...

Merry Christmas. It is once again almost Christmas so here is our 2022 Christmas Extravaganza. This year we searched out some more traditions from other countries that might be different than what we are used to. So are very interesting. We close this year's Christmas pod with a couple of scary ghost stories. (Just all seems like versions of Krampus) I will say that the last one is kind of gruesom...

So, I named this week Christmas traditions, but we do talk about more than that. We talk about some traditions we have in our household which leads me to one of my favorite things and that is Christmas lights. I love driving around looking at all the Christmas lights. So, we talk a little bit about the origins of the Christmas lights. Then what would Christmas be without a nice tree. So, we also d...

So, this week we are sort of all over the place. We talk about the great smog of London since it happened in 1952 on the day, we are recording this. Also, the day that we are recording is December 5 which in some places it is Krampus Nacht. Now to see what that is you will have to give it a listen. Then we close out the week with a short fable that most have heard but needed to be talked about in...

This week we do something a little different. Noah's Pops (my dad) turned 80 this past weekend. We decided it would be neat to look back at some of the big innovations over the last 80 years. There have been some major changes for sure. I sure hope you enjoy this week's episode and have a great week.

So, if you didn't guess by the title this week's episode is about the World cup that just kicked off recently. Give it a listen and see if you learn a new fact or two. Hope you enjoy and have a great week.

Well, it has been a while since we just checked in with Noah and talked about what he is up to these days. We were trying to make it a pod about just him, but we strayed into Veterans Day parade and somehow got on the classing and not so classic McDonald land characters. Give it a listen and catch up with Noah and learn a bit about McDonald land. Hope you enjoy and have a great week.

Sorry for missing a week we have been spending the week passing the flu around our household. Now we are much better, a little coughy but better. So, this week we tell some top ten Halloween things. This week we journey to a ghost town just outside of Selma, Alabama. The name of the place is Cahawba. This is where the first capital for the state of Alabama was located. We also stopped by a very neat looking cem...

Well, this week we wanted to do a spooky movie, but Noah really wanted to watch this Scooby Doo movie. So, this episode is a spoiler filled review of Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby Doo Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog. Noah has to carry this one because as always, I slept through most of the movie. He does a pretty good job explaining it. So, if you are a fan of Scooby Doo or of Courage the Cowardly...

So, this week starts off a bit different. I won a six pack of Mountain Dew Baja Blast Deep Dive, so we start off the podcast with us making a TikTok taste test video. Not quite sure how that comes off on the pod but it's there. We then go into a deep dive (see what I did there?) on Disney's latest live action movie Pinocchio. We do spoil most of the movie so if you don't want to be spoiled watch t...

So, this week the family went to an Oktoberfest celebration here in town so we thought we would talk a little of the history and some fun facts. Then Noah gives his game of the week choice which is The Hunter: Call of the wild. Listen in to hear what Noah thinks of this game so far. Oh yeah and we sneak in a fun Old Faithful fact at the end. Hope you all have a great week and enjoy the episode.

This week we talk about Noah's campout. They went to Alabama gold camp. Listen in to see if we became rich. We then talk about Queen Elizabeth who recently passed away. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this episode and have a great week.

So, this week with the kickoff of college football we did a new taste test challenge. We did a blind taste test of both Brach's tailgate candy corn and Tootsie Roll harvest blend.
