Artisan Dub Soup - IV In my mind, Jamie has curated some of the finest and most elegant deep dub and immersive ambient music and to achieve it so consistently is truly impressive. Particularly with his Silent Season project, I was introduced to many new producers with some of those then becoming part of my Verdant Recordings family. We've exchanged music and thoughts since the early releases of SS...

More soup from Scott Braithwaite. At a memorable all back to mine from FARR festival (some years ago) Scott Jumped on the decks and immersed himself in my dub techno records. It was soon apparent to me that he had a great affection for the genre and so a natural selection for this series. Volume V is laid down from his own, vast collection of deep and tasteful records! The Real Techno Group recently hosted this mix from me ....... Blurb.....Andy has been collecting electronic music and dancing into the mornings since the late 80s. He's the ears and energy behind Verdant Recordings, a label supporting diverse music from new and established producers since 2016. Latterly he teamed up with Jamie Exalt for their Vertex side project. When "Overcast" from the forthcom...

A celestial alignment and Murf was magically here for an unscheduled mix and recording..... 3 1/2 hours later this is the document of our b2b. I hooked up with Jus-Ed recently, spending some quality time in deep conversation and deep music. He graciously hosted my dig at his UQ vault (Box 32, Schöneberg) and i surfaced some hours later, very content and bagging records used in this mix. A memorable session, notable for the boutique personal service, tasty coffee and shared experiences. If ever in Berlin, a hook up with @jus-ed is essenti...

ADS IV is a fascinating selection, effortlessly mixed by Berlin based Antony Cacharron who's the creative behind boutique label Ausblick. It's always a pleasure to hear some diversity in Dub Techno moods and grooves and those in abundance with this set. My caps doffed to Anthony who will also be appearing on the MLD Goes Live festival program in August. ***Please comment for IDs*** https://www.dis...

Artisan Dub Soup III Noticeable tingles in my toes to have this series galvanised with a sweetly mixed, pro selection from Alastair Kelly of Lempuyang, and long time friend from the original discogs community. A stellar, progressive set of top shelf dubby nodders and groovers, graced with luscious vocals. And of course ....always an education from a scholar of the genre - thanks AEK! Dialog feat....
