Two Little Kits

Omgosh, can you believe I have T-E-N finished pieces this fortnight?! And no, that doesn't include the five from last FlossTube..! This fortnight was a bit of a rush (hence the sub-20min video) but we cover quite a bit. Finishes [as mentioned], works-in-progress, new patterns & haul and a little bit of what's been going on in my corner of the world. Leave a comment on my website with y...

(Apologies for the blurry start. Seems my camera was spot-focused on something behind me. At least I was able to fix it albeit accidentally early on!) After waiting out my neighbours being generally loud, we were able to get straight into sharing my status of current works-in-progress. And even better; five completed ornaments! 👏 I also mention a few linkable things: Notion App & Instagram post f...

So many works-in-progress once again this vlog! I've been doing a lot of stitching in the previous two weeks so it's no surprise. However, one of the WIPs is brand new! So that's always exciting! Check out the progress on the eleven 2023 ornaments, see what I received in the thumbnail's soft package, see how I prepare my floss for stitching hair in my ornaments and check out the po...

It's definitely that time of year again - I'm inundated with ORNAMENTS! And I'm loving it (for now 😝)! Aside from a huge variety of WIPs, I talk about my newest available pattern, get into the topic of my current medication struggles and share some old cross-stitch work that I found while doing some tidying up! *** Apologies for the distracting gardener noises in the background. My ne...

What a quick 2 weeks it's been..! I got a fair amount of stuff done this past fortnight but (just quietly) probably not the right things done... Oops. Watch the video/listen to the episode to find out what sorts of things I've been working on, the kinds of things I had to put up with IRL (lol!) and the surprise, upcoming pattern I have being released as early as tomorrow! Do you have a &qu...

I finally got to go to the Washington State Fair and see how my three submitted pieces went - watch to find out how they each went and whether I won anything! Usual things to chat about this fortnight - a finished piece (that you didn't even get to see as a WIP - what are the odds!), a new WIP and work on an old WIP, ornament 2023 chatter and other bits and pieces, as usual.

I missed posting last week due to the craziness that is life, but I'm back! Holiday ornaments for 2023 are now available for purchase! I cannot WAIT to see the kinds of portraits that will be ordered (and looking forward to stitching those that have already come in!) and the collection I'll have for this year. If you or someone you know would like to place an order for a portrait, let me k...

I almost forgot that this fortnight's FlossTube was a thing I needed to do - eek! But I got there in the nick of time and had lots of things to share. I chat about the WIPs I worked on, a mixed-media piece I created, an update on enamel pins, share some embroidery patterns and even about my entries to [drumroll please] this year's state fair! I wonder if I will find myself the proud owner...

Not really sure what to write in this fortnight's description, I'll be honest. Summer holidays has me in a distracted funk - but at least I'm getting a fair amount of stitching done, which is nice. I'd love to hear from you about your thoughts regarding patterns you'd love to see designed by me.

Do you wear clothes? It's likely that you do. So there's a chance you might want a new t-shirt (or three!..?) to rep your love for all things stitchy. Well, check out some of the new t-shirts that are now available on my website! I do become a bit of a depressive downer talking about how things are going for Two Little Kits (but I guess I'm allowed to do that on *my* FlossTube - lol) b...

I guess it had to happen eventually. My whole family has been sick and it eventually caught up with me. But let's make a light situation out of it by making a FlossTube video with a cracked voice, eh?! My shortest FlossTube to date (with good reason, I'd say) but I have exciting things to share with you. One of which is that today (video release day) is my birthday! 🥳️

Summer holidays are officially upon my household - so far, so good! Lots going on and you can tell simply from my runaway thoughts, tangents and the editing (which usually implies lots of "umm" and "ahh" removal). I stitched a whole piece for my latest pattern; "Outer Space". I *didn't* finish a piece I promised I would have by this FlossTube. I continued to work...

My kids have both had their birthdays - My goodness, the years fly by! I didn't have a whole heap to share this fortnight (which you can probably tell by the length of this video..!) but that's largely thanks to it being the first half of June. Which is bonkers crazy busy for my family. But check out what I *did* get up to..! Congratulations to "@AnastasiaMeng" for winning my giv...

I'm amazed and astounded that I've managed to keep this (making FlossTube videos ) up for fifty straight episodes. Can you believe it?! Have you enjoyed it? [THAT, I do hope is the case.] See what goodies are coming very soon to my website to celebrate my birthday this year. I've been hard at work getting ready for it! What stitchy projects have I been up to this fortnight? Which is your favourite...
