God wants us to move beyond Salvation & towards freedom. Freedom from sin & healing from wounds & authority over the enemy. To get through the second promise the right relationships are key. The core issue of not putting God first is that we don't believe in the faithfulness of God. Uncertainty can be a barrier to trusting God but uncertainty with fear will lead to worry. We are only as good as our relationships. Others can affect our outlook on life. God called us to be an influence in this world even when others don't agree with us. We are called to speak truth in love.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. One things God is trying to accomplish in our lives is to help our faith to grow. Many times the very things we don't want to go through are the things that we need to get stronger. Those that have put their trust in God and gone through difficulties can tell you that when the air clears, "God is faithful". Taste and See!
