Had the opportunity to talk about week 4 in the NFL with my guy Edwin Duodu. We talk about what transpired between the games this past Sunday and what who we think the best teams are in the NFL.

Thid week on the Shut Up & Listen Podcast I talked about my thoughts on week 2 of the NFL and what teams has been the best throughout the first 2 weeks of the season. I also talked about what teams have been most entertaining to watch and the most disappointing teams so far in the season. 

I had the opportunity of having returning guest Eddie from the Nuts-and-Bolts sports family. We talked about Donovan Mitchell being traded to the Cavaliers and other great topics happening in the sports world. 

I had the opportunity of bringing a returning guest on my podcast Karell Lackey who is Philadelphia native, and he knows his sports. We talked about some of the hottest sports topics happening in the sports world right now.  

Tonight on the ShutUp & Listen podcast I talked about what Kobe Bryant meant to me growing up and how influence will always play a big part in my life. I also talked about Baker Mayfield won the starting job in Carolina. I also talked about Kevin Durant and the Memphis Grizzles showing interest trading for Durant.

I had the opportunity of being one of my closet friends Avril Smith on the show. We talked about the Los Angeles Lakers and what are their expectations this upcoming season. We also talked about Kobe Bryant and why he consistently gets disrespected by NBA analyst and people who just don't know what they're talking about when it comes to greatness and ranking all-time. 

The NFL will appeal Deshaun Watson 6 game suspension and seek a tougher penalty for violating its personal conduct policy for egregious acts of sexualized contact with message therapists, the league said Wednesday.

Kendrick Perkins said on first take that he thinks Steph Curry has surpassed Kobe Bryant. Kendrick Perkins is blowing smoke with this take. I also talked about Russell Westbrook future with the Lakers. 

I had the opportunity of being Nuts and Bolts family member Greg Rector. We talk about some great topics happening in the sports world. 

I had the opportunity of bringing my right-hand man Ty Tracy on the ShutUp & Listen Podcast. We talked about Brittney Grinner's situation on, and she may be facing 10 years in prison. We also talked about the Raiders having the black woman president in NFL history. Sandra Morgan had history and she has accomplished a huge milestone. We also talked about some Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. 

KD shocked the basketball world today when he requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets.

Had returning guest Edwin Duodu on the show yesterday and we talked Aaron Donald's new contract worth 95 million dollars over the next three years. With Donald signing a new contract are the Rams the favorite in the NFC. We also talked about the NBA finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. With team has the edge in this series. 

This morning I had the opportunity of talking with my guy Eric Vinson who knows his basketball. We talked about The Golden State Warriors on back in the NBA finals for the 6th time in 8 years. They beat the Dallas Mavericks in 5 games and the Warriors have a chance at winning their 4th championship since 2015. The Celtics bounce back and sent a message to the Miami Heat and that their overwhelmingly the better team when fully healthy. Boston beat Miami 127-102. Marcus Smart had his impact all over this game. 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 12 assists. His leadership and play making ability was the difference in this ball game. Is Boston the best team in remaining in the playoffs?

The Eastern finals game 1 tipped off last night between the Miami Heat and The Boston Celtics. Jimmy Butler scored game high 41 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. The Heat outscored the Celtics 39 to 14 in the third quarter. Heat win game 1 118- 107. The Warriors and Mavericks will tip off tonight at 9 P.M. Who will take game 1 tonight?

The NFL Draft Day is upon us, and players lives will change forever because their hard work has finally paid off. Yesterday I had the opportunity of being my guy Eddie Duodu who is a diehard New York Jets fan and we talked about his Jets and who they should draft. We also talked about the NBA playoffs and what's transpiring right now. 

The NBA playoffs have been worth all the hype and it’s there’s been a lot of things transpiring in both the Eastern and Western conference.

I had the opportunity of interviewing another Coffee High School legend Trevis Simpson who is a professional athlete at the professional level overseas. Trevis and I talked about his journey from being highly ranked coming out of high school and having a good college career at the University of North Carolina Greensboro and being an athlete at the professional level. 

The NFL world is in disbelief on the tragic news on Dwayne Hawkins tragic passing over the weekend. Prayers for the family. The Lakers were a disappointment because they missed the playoffs and they came into the season as one of the favorites to win the championship.

I had the opportunity of bringing my childhood friend Brandon Roe who is a Coffee High legend in both basketball and football. Brandon is professional athlete who plays for the Sioux falls Storm, and he's been pursuing and living out his dream of being a professional athlete. Every athlete has a story to tell, and this podcast is about the untold story of the one and only Brandon Roe. 

After Giannis Antetokounmpo great performance on the road against the Brookyln Nets 120-119. Giannis finished the game with 44 points, 14 rebounds, and 6 assist. Hitting the clutch 3 pointer to send the game in overtime. Is he now the best player on the planet?  

The biggest news everyone is talking about is Will Smith who slapped comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars. I'll also be talking some sports with my man Eddie who is a member of the Nuts-and-Bolts Sports family.
