Never forget how important the little things are.   They can make or break us.

Often times we think we'll never get that opporinity.  The chance to show people what we are made of.  To show our talent.   The fact of the matter is that we get that opportunity to every day we wake up.  Are you ready?  Are you available?  Do you show up?

You practice it.  It works perfectly during practice.  It's the perfect play, on paper.  What happens during the game?  What happens in the real world to your perfect play when Life decides it doesn't care about your great play?  

Oh, the zit.  The big, juicy, ugly zit. What are you gonna do about it?

Life gives us opportunites every single day to either play the victim or to take ownership and play our hand (either crappy or not) the best way we can.   Life also allows us to live in in reverse or forward.  Take your pick.

We were lucky enough to have Jake Sumner on our basktball team back in the day and I was fortunate to be his coach. The toughness and perserverance he brought to the team was pricelss.   I'm still lucky because I get to draw on memories of him showing up getting the job done no matter the obstacles in his way as I try to teach my little daughter those same qualities.  Thank you for the impact Ditk...

We all have memories etched in our heads.   Embrace them.

Life presents us with plenty of opportunites to show up and rise to the occasion.  Some answer that call while others ignore it.  Some compete while others shy away.  It's easy when you know your chances are good.  But how about when you're the underdog?  When you're backs up against the wall?  

We often times forget how special things can be until they are gone. Embrace the moment.

Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for your support.  We all have something to be grateful for, today is a great day to remember that.

It happens.  We let our guard down, we don't pay attention or we simply get complacent.  

Life always gives us opportunities to make the best out of any situation.  The question is, do you?  BAM helped get that message across in this episode.

Life gives us gifts every day.  Embrace them.

We all get a blank slate every morning. New start. New opportunities to turn the corner. Or not. You choose.
