The Old Mrs. Moody Show

Road work begins outside Old Mrs. Moody and Catbaloo's houses, bringing dump trucks, excavators, and jackhammers right to their front windows. When the crew accidentally breaks the water line, the day's plans come to a halt. With no chores to do, Old Mrs. Moody and Catbaloo settle in, and Catbaloo tells a story instead. It's the tale of Marty Mole, a little mole who loves to dig. With help from hi...

Old Mrs. Moody has somehow missed the story of the Bubble and Squeak Carwash—the biggest mystery Bixby County has ever known. While she and Catbaloo bake fresh peach cobbler together, Catbaloo begins to tell the tale. It starts with the Jones brothers, Jack and Otis, their mother, April Mae Jones, and a puppy left in a basket on their porch. One summer day, they take a drive that leads them into t...

A busy, boisterous crow interrupts Catbaloo and Old Mrs. Moody's quiet afternoon of knitting on the back porch. He flies back and forth, calling as loudly as he can, as if trying to get their attention. When they bring out a pair of binoculars to take a closer look, they see him carrying raspberries from the garden into the hollow of the sugartree. Curious, Catbaloo climbs a ladder to peek inside...

Old Mrs. Moody and Catbaloo head to Possum Creek for a campout. They hike through the woods and learn to spot animal tracks, then paddle out onto the lake to do a little fishing. After a day of adventures, they gather around a cozy campfire and toast marshmallows for s'mores. Later that night, tucked into a tent under the stars, they lie very still and listen. The sounds of the forest come togethe...

The Hot Diggity Dog Parade is coming—right down the middle of Main Street! Old Mrs. Moody and Catbaloo grab a seat in the front row to watch dogs of every size, shape, and breed march by. Some stop to perform their special skills: ballet-dancing poodles, jumping Jack Russells, and a sheep-herding demonstration by the amazing Wesley, an Australian Shepherd. It's a perfectly wonderful day until a li...

Roylene the little pig has a big imagination. On Uncle Henry's farm, she decides the barnyard should become the African veldt. Soon the cats are roaring like lions, the goats are stretching their necks like giraffes, and the ducks are standing on one leg like flamingos. The farm is quickly thrown into confusion. Old Mrs. Moody and Catbaloo come up with a plan to help restore order. They take Royle...

Kids are invited to join Old Mrs. Moody and Catbaloo on a fantastic time-machine adventure to the Old West! Old Mrs. Moody and Catbaloo find a very old letter in the attic from the year 1860. It's from an old silver miner, Whistling Pete, who has lost his mule, Bessie, and desperately needs help finding her. Mrs. Moody, Catbaloo, and the kids climb into a time machine and travel back to an Old Wes...

Old Mrs. Moody and Catbaloo receive a letter from a young seahorse named Seabiscuit, inviting them to the Coral Sea to watch his very first seahorse pony race.
