Dave Player started a charity called Kartforce, which encourages injured veterans to get into karting and motorsports. After seeing the positive impact from Kartforce, he then created Team Brit, an all disabled racing team looking to eventually make it to the Le Mans 24 Hour.

Sarah Moore became the first ever female to win the Ginetta Junior Championship and since then her career has gone from strength to strength. In 2019 she was selected as driver for the W Series and will race again in 2021. We discuss her journey towards her ultimate goal of racing in the 24 hour of le mans and her role as an ambassador for Racing Pride.

The second instalment of our “Karting Series”. Matt Knoesen has only been karting for 2 years but is already dreaming and paving his way for a successful career in Formula 1. Having been born with a spinal cord injury, at 8 years old he is on his way towards many achievements and his ultimate goal of becoming a Formula 1 world champion.

Working in Formula 1 is the dream career for many people. In this episode, I speak with Krystina Emmanouilides who is the Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer for the Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN Formula 1 team. She speaks to me about her journey to Formula One and how the industry can improve with respect to inclusivity.
