After playing more Finder2 last night I’m continually impressed with the flexibility of skill based initiatives.. let’s talk about it

Let’s talk about starting a game . I mean the real start …when you have that killer idea… who else is going to be into it? Pick the ideas everyone (as many people as possible) are going to be into. Feed back is everything.

I talk about Starfinder 2 game and making adjustments so my character and my friends character are not pointing at each other like 2 spidermen.

What’s the best way to unwind after a 63 hour work week? Live table top Gaming with friends!!

Today I ramble about my star finder character. In particular I talk about the characters starting point and how I hope the character grow into his personality through play. I also resist the urge to complain about the snow and cold…mostly.

This one might seem a bit nihilistic, But it's not. It's just the truth of how things are on Friday 1/16/2026. and things are always fluid... This is just me riffing on how I'm having a ton of trouble keeping focused on TTRPG's and what some of the reasons could be. I guess it does ask more questions than if gives answers, but hell - at least it's an honest look at my own place...

New year wishes and dice dreams

AAIE Has one system people completely love or hate, and that’s casting spells. So let’s look at that for what and why it is.

Fact is this is a quick what have I been doing update.. persisting that’s what. Trying to plug away at some game ideas and get something out there for AAIE in the holiday season.

This episode: How I used to use Index cards when I was running games far more often than I do now. Once upon a time I would run multiple games in a week. At that time Index cards were invaluable tools for keeping track of the details and helping to run the game. This week - I talk a bit about exactly how I used to use them.

Just a quick talk about our seasonal Krampus game. And how it relates to or in our case defies, pace. Also sorry about the heater noise in the first half.

A quick update about changing formats

Just a quick hitter of an episode. With the holidays, there’s not that much going on.
