This episode is on the War that sort of determined the fate of the Yorubaland and how the Ilorins' well trained army were strategically trying to gain Yorubaland one state at a time.

It gets more intense as the Afonja is betrayed and Ilorin is lost to the Fulanis but is it a bad thing that the king is an Emir and not an Oba?

We never really know the full details of what happened in the past, we learn our History from what we are told. We can't blame people for choices they made when we were not there at that point in time, in their shoes, in their souls thinking, seeing, studying analysing, Choosing. We have our history from records over time.

Before we get into the War History, first we get to understand the precolonial Yoruba Empire with a check and balance that I think in theory perhaps worked best amongst others political power checks. The practical aspect may not be as clear cut but in theory the check of power seemed solid
