Solely Singleton

S13E3 – The Starter Cube (2021 Edition) On this episode of Solely Singleton, Brad and Eric go over the 2021 edition of the Solely Singleton Starter cube! For those who are unaware, the starter cube is a $120 budget cube that Brad and Eric designed back in S8E3. Like many things in life however, the price of the cube has slowly ballooned since then. So with the help of the Patreon Discord the crew...

Brad and Eric do their best to generate hype for a game they actually play, Path of Exile! As this week is the start of the Expedition league, your hosts will be bumbling through the lore, providing totally accurate descriptions of the league's mechanics, going over the new nerfs, arguing over what builds will be the best, and (of course) whatever the PoE equivalent of misreading cards during hot...

Brad and Eric return for hot takes for the Adventure in the Forgotten Realms commander cards! Spooty wasn't able to join us like our other hot takes but he has joined us in spirit and sent in his takes of a couple cards for peasant/pauper cubes.  While a lot of cards from the decks are focused for multiplayer/EDH, there are a couple really sweet cards that may have a home in your cube! 00:30 - Int...

Did you remember to check for traps Listener? I hope so, because the further we delve into Mad Brad's dungeon, the more fearsome monsters we will face! The hallway before you forks, down one path, you hear the cackling of a possessed peasant! Down the other hallway, the silence is broken by a whisper on the wind. The wind carries the phrase "Sounds good" by your ears and you feel a strange desire...

In this episode, Brad and Eric are joined by Spooty to kickoff the new season with Adventure in the Forgotten Realms hot takes. This is MTG's first (of many) cross-IP standard sets and is looking to be a home run in the flavor department. While the set may be on the lower end of the power level spectrum, (especially coming off the heels of MH2) there are still a lot of appealing options for cube....

On this episode of Solely Singleton, Brad and his guest host JJ review a lucky listener's cube and provide useful advice for improvement. Since their first take was great enough to be accepted into that library down in Alexandria (Which I love, so I certainly hope nothing bad ever happens to it), they decided to doctor up another cube. As always, they go in the traditional order of lands, white, b...

On this episode of Solely Singleton, Brad, Eric, Christian, and Redneck Riviera figure out what MH2 cards they like for cube. On this episode of Solely Singleton, we have an interview with everyone's favorite blue-haired strea⸻  Wait, this isn't a Fortnite cast? Damn, now I have to be a competent editor and actually listen to the show. So, it looks like this is the oft-requested episode about the ninja package that's been tested since MH1, not an over-repeated joke about Twitch. In any case, go ahead and enjoy a Dimir ep...

In this episode of Solely Singleton, Brad and Eric and the recently freed/fired Christian discuss cards from both STX and C21. In this episode, Brad, Eric, and Christian are back for another round of magic card hot takes! Come listen and see what the guys think of these new cards!  Stay tuned for the C21 review also jamm...

In this episode of Solely Singleton, Brad and Eric discuss the recent changes that have been announced in regards to Hasbro, Wizards of the Coast, and MTG moving forward.  Notably, they bring up Universes Beyond, or perhaps "Un-Realms" if you can't remember that name.  At least WotC jumped the shark more than we did this season.   00:30 - Intro 1:40 - BREAKING NEWS  29:05 - Outro   Show Links:   S...
