Instead, he says the people who are enabling the vice should be dealt with, and instead of periodically deploying the military, NPRs should be empowered to deal with the problem.

MP Martha Wangari says that the state should empower the national police to handle domestic problems like the banditry problem in the North Rift, and leave the defence forces to guard and deal with the external enemies.

Odoyo Owidi, the former chairperson of the Lake Basin Development Authority-cum-politician says Raila Odinga has captured the Luo community for his own benefit. Odoyo wants to replace him and liberate the Luo community.

Danstan Omari, one of the lawyers representing former Cabinet Secretary for interior, Dr Fred Matiang'i, says the ex-minister had a tip-off that the police were coming to go arrest him at his house on Wednesday night.

Principal Secretary for Correctional Services, Mary Muthoni. She says there are more than 300 underaged children in prisons with their mothers who are serving their sentences. She says the ministry is working with the judiciary to have the cases of their mothers fast-tracked to allow the children go home and grow up like other normal children.

Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi says the current judiciary is the worst that Kenya has ever had. Says judges are corrupt and take bribes to rule cases in a certain way.
