There are plenty of concepts throughout Scripture that we may think we have a complete understand of, but as we spend more time in the Word, we get a clearer understanding of what those mean to us all! Altars are no exception - this morning we look at the functions of the altar throughout Scripture.

Dads are our heroes! Part of being a hero is acting the part. This morning, we want dads to leave encouraged and reminded of the role they play in the lives of their families!

Freedom is anything but free and has been paid for at a price! This morning we take time to honor the men and women who paid the ultimate price to ensure our freedom! At the same time we remember that it was Jesus himself who did the same thing for us through His life and death on the cross. Today, we remember!

Family is important and no matter your role you play or hold in your family, it is crucial! As we navigate family dynamics we have to be willing to dedicate our families to God and allow him to be part of the chaos. If we hope to see God's best for those closest to us, He has to be part of the equation!

Family is something that we're kind of just stuck with, but we can't forget that God created the family unit and His intention is for it to be something amazing! Just because it was created perfect, doesn't mean it always is. Today we look at Scripture on working through family challenges in a God honoring way!

A community should be connected to its own vision - it should be part of the makeup of its people! This morning we look at what it means to be connected to our source as Christ followers!

For community to be what God intended it to be we have to make sure and be connected to its purpose! As a community of people who love God, we need to remember that His intention for community is to be together, to worship together and to sharpen each other!

Biblical community sounds like it ends up being perfect but because we're involved, it's far from it! It's hard to know how to handle broken relationships, especially when it involves other Christ followers. Today we talk about how we can work to restore and reclaim this broken friendships according to Scripture!

Often times we can look at church and community as two different things when in reality they should be one in the same! God's purpose for us as Christ's followers is to live life alongside one another, realizing that we're not in it alone! Fear is real - it can be crippling and overwhelming. When we find ourselves in a situation where fear is the natural reaction it can be hard to separate the emotion of what we're experiencing and what Jesus instructs us to do in those times.
