revivanary
The Revivanary podcast is a collection of relevant, contemporary teaching with the purpose of discussing and clarifying Biblical issues that many have questions about. While always focused on maintaining the seriousness of the subject, the heaviness of the topic is often lightened with humor. Certainly not a "traditional" Bible teaching format, the Revivanary podcast attempts to capture the personal atmosphere that invites all to come and listen and learn. We will not shy away from the controversial, but we also are not looking to shock. Just a real conversation about real topics.

Revelation Study 3/5/2023 Revelation 11:18 - "Raged"
Sunday Sermon 3/5/2023 "Keep" 08.03.2023 30:51
John 14:15 - "If you love me, keep my commandments" In today's message we discuss whether this is a command or a request. Often this verse is taken out of context and used as a weapon to control and manipulate behavior. Is it possible that it is an invitation from a loving Father delivered by a loving brother to avoid the snare of the enemy and be able to experience the peace that only God can pro...

Sunday Sermon 2/26/2023 "Sword" 27.02.2023 34:55
In Ephesians 6:17 Paul refers to the Word of God as a "sword". It is the only offensive weapon listed in the armor he details. God did not intend for us to remain crouched in a corner, hiding from every rumor of trouble. He also does not want us to take out a carnal weapon and fight our battles through natural means. In today's message we discuss the Word of God being the weapon that fights our re...

"Critic" with Dave Webb 21.02.2023 1:19:51
On today's podcast we discuss the critic. Some folks feel like it is there responsibility, their calling within the body of Christ to find fault with everything that happens. Sometimes without them realizing it, they may very well be criticizing the work of God because they can't see His hand at work since it doesn't line up with their opinion of how it should be done. Today we talk about the loca...

Sunday Sermon 2/19/2023 "Toward" 21.02.2023 26:42
In John 1:1 we are told "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". In today's message we discuss these three statements, focusing especially on the phrase "the Word was with God". The word with can be translated as "toward", therefor John is saying the Word was face to face with God. Jesus is the Word, so the idea here is that Jesus was a mirror image of the...
"Form Of Godliness" with Dave Webb 14.02.2023 1:08:25
In 2 Timothy 3:1-7, Paul tells Timothy to beware of those who hold a "form of godliness". On today's podcast we discuss what Paul meant by that and whether his teaching is still applicable to the Church today.

"Blissless Ignorance Part 1" Sunday Sermon 2/5/2023 06.02.2023 29:31
In Hosea 4:1, God tells His people through Hosea the prophet that he has a problem with them. Specifically that there are three things missing; truth, mercy, and knowledge of God. To know God is to know His character. In today's message we discuss just what the character of God is and why God is upset with the lack of truth, mercy, and knowledge of Him.
Bible Study 2/1/2023 1 Kings 1:5-10 06.02.2023 58:51
What is the character of God? We are given an clear image throughout scripture of His character on display in the lives of His people, namely in the profession that permeates their resumes...Shepherd. To love the sheep, to feed the sheep, to defend the sheep, to lay down your life for the sheep; all of these portray the character of God, and these same traits will be found in His children. The cle...
"Repentance" Special guest Dave Webb 31.01.2023 1:17:12
What does repentance mean? On today's podcast we discuss how repentance is not a one time event, but rather a continual process in the life of a believer. None of us are perfect after salvation, we are always being corrected in some way. It is not the will of God that we live in a constant state of fear and guilt, instead the Holy Spirit is daily helping us to become aware of, acknowledge, and all...
Bible Study 1/4/2023 : 1 Kings 1:1-4 Part 1 12.01.2023 57:27
The Bible does not hide David's sins, it reveals them for all to see. Not to shame David, not just to give us an image of the pain that sin caused in David's life, but in order that we might see the amazing grace of God. Is it possible that God also revealed all of David's flaws in order to show us that none of us can ever live perfectly? Maybe He wants us to trust in Him and His righteousness ins...
"Nawledge Series : Wander" Sunday Sermon 1/8/2023 12.01.2023 36:15
Is it possible that the church has wandered away from it's primary objective, loving God and loving our neighbor, and fallen into the dreadful pit of tradition? So many today that name the name of Christ live a life of legalistic, judgmental ugliness that in no way mirrors the life of Christ. Serving the Lord is more than refraining from sin, it is also heading into the darkened world as He did an...
"Youer" Sunday Sermon 12/18/2022 19.12.2022 28:55
Paul tells us two absolute truths in Romans 3.23-24; the first is that all of us have sinned and are guilty of causing the death of Christ. Second, God loves us so much He was willing to offer His Son as our sacrifice. Often we focus on one of the other. We are either so focused on sin that we beat ourselves up and are hyper judgmental of our neighbor. We can also be so swept up in our flesh that...
"Whyer" Sunday Sermon 12/11/2022 12.12.2022 28:57
There will be times in all of our lives when we ask the question "why". God why did this happen? God why are you letting me go through this? God why won't you answer my prayer? God why are you silent? In today's message we discuss how there are things that happen to us in life that do not make sense in the moment, but that God has a plan and in hindsight we can see how God can work out even the mo...
Bible Study "Romans 16:5-15" - 12/07/2022 12.12.2022 54:41
The church is not made up of super saints that have illustrious reputations and super human skill. It is made up of normal, everyday people who let the Lord use them in supernatural ways to do the extraordinary work He calls them to. On today's podcast we study Romans 16.5-15 as Paul tells of some very important people that had made incredible impressions in his life and who had been very impactfu...
"Submission" Special Guest Dave Webb 06.12.2022 1:20:43
What does it mean to be submitted to God? Many claim to be followers of God but their lives are lived in opposition to His Word and His will. On today's podcast we discuss James 4:6-7, and how James explains what true submission to the Lord means. It is not what we do or do not do in terms of opinion or tradition, but rather obedience to the Lord that determines submersion .
"How-wer" Sunday Sermon 12/04/2022 05.12.2022 29:13
In Genesis 18:9-18, Sarah laughs privately at the promise of the Lord to give her a child. Her thought was, "howwer you going to do that for an old woman like me?". Often we become content in the place we are in life, just accepting it as the norm. We begin to look at the obstacles in our life and simply quit expecting any other outcome than disappointment. We begin to look at how things are and f...
"When-ner" Sunday Message 11/27/2022 30.11.2022 32:11
We all go through times as believers where we wonder when God is going to work out the situation we are dealing with. We know He is faithful, but in the process of time we will feel the weight of the stress of waiting and as any child will do, we ask God how much longer will this take. "When are you going to resolve this?", or as we hear in the South, "whenner you going to resolve this?'. It isn't...

"This-Unity" Sunday Message 11/20/2022 22.11.2022 32:20
Jesus has called the called to exhibit His love in action, to be light in darkness, to be order in chaos. Paul makes reference to this in Philippians 2:1-2. There is no greater witness to the love of Jesus than His body, the family, the Church being one with each other. Unity is the precious blessing of the working of the Holy Spirit within the Church. Our enemy, the devil, seeks to destroy the un...
