Retro Wars

Christmas is in the air, so what better way to celebrate this time of year with a horror game where we all try to kill Jason. Yes, Friday 13th for the NES. One of the worst games, I have ever played. Joining in me in this fight for survival is Captain N from the Retrotopia podcast. It has been over 2 years since I have covered a Donkey Kong game here on the channel but time to make amends with Donkey Kong Country 2. Can we save the big ape or will we split? Retro Wars is now on YouTube doing Retrospectives on a bunch...

Spider-Man games were never that good growing up. I don't know what it was but they could never get to right. Case in point, Spider-Man vs The Kingpin, another stinker for the Sega Megadrive. This week, I am joined by Chris Coplien from the Retro hangover podcast who decided to hunt the treasure.  You can follow me on the following socials: Twitte...

Mario is back on an adventure to get the...six golden coins...because they matter in Mario lore. Super Mario Land 2 is the second Mario game on the Game Boy and is probably the best of the bunch. I loved this game growing up and so does my guest, Captain  N from the Retrotopia podcast. You can follow me on the following socials: Twitter: @retrowarsuk Instagram: retro_wars_podcast Tiktok: @retrowar...

PAXAUS2024 has been and gone. I have taken my time to get back into normal life and finally do all the post interviews. Special shoutouts go to: The guys at RocketComms for even giving me this chance to go t...

Does anyone remember Bucky O'Hare? I do. I used to love the cartoon when I grew up, but I never played the NES game. It is a classic example of NES hard but unlike others, I think it is very fair. I am joined this week by Jake from the Press B to cancel podcast.  Will we both finish this game? Actually.....we might do.  You can follow me on the following socials: Twitter: @retrowarsuk Instagram: r...

Emerging from the shadows appears the Shinobi...for the 3rd time. Metro City needs saving and it's up to you. Welcome to Final Final, a brawler from Capcom which originally started as Street Fighter 89. Retro Wars is now on YouTube doing Retrospectives on a bunch of...

You can follow me on the following socials: Twitter: @retrowarsuk Instagram: retro_wars_podcast Tik...

Starfox or Starwing....wherever you live in the world, was the birth of the Starfox space rail shooter series. I had not played anything like this in the past.
