Renew Church OC

Wilson talks a lot about calluses in this sermon, and at first I kept thinking about the new calluses I have on my hands from rock climbing (shoutout to my rock climbing peeps). But as I actually listened and wasn't sitting on Reddit, I actually noticed the weird calluses that even I had built up within my relationship with God. So yeah no weird funny stuff today, this is a super good sermon.

When I first came to Renew I thought everyone here was far too nice to be real. I swore this place was a cult. But in reality everyone is just super loving here. Fast forward 4 years and halfway through this sermon Dave has everyone chanting random phrases at him. My suspicion that Renew might be a cult are back. Oh and yeah like I mentioned Dave is speaking so you know this week is super good.

Normally I put funny things here, but it's super hot today and I'm tired. So Wilson spoke today, his title was woes to the city. It's sounds pretty serious you should listen. 3rd week without A/C and counting........

Guess who's back, back again, Dave is back, tell a friend. Dave is back is to talk with us about all of our doubts in life, just like my doubt that this description is funny in any way.

The great Mark Kwong is back everyone, on the worst possible day to be back. Our AC broke on the hottest week of the year, but thankfully Mark is such a cool guy that it was no trouble for him. So let's talk about your calling with God.

Jonathan Whitmore is here talking about fear with a million Lebron analogies. If that isn't intriguing enough I have no idea what else to write to get you want to listen to this. Also this is before he was officially on the Lakers, that makes certain jokes much funnier.

Would you rather be rich or have friends? Thats literally how this sermon starts. Am I evil for thinking about this scenario for far too long. My pros and cons list was pretty giant as well.

It's Fathers Day which means Wilson is hyped to be telling some stories about being a dad. He's really been looking forward to it. But on top of that we have some great stories from Irwin our first missionary and Willie a Volleyball friend of Wilson's.

Dave is back in town! Well he never left town but look I needed something dumb to say and that was the first thing that came to mind. Anyway let's break down the disciples.

Somehow this sermon went from talking about MoviePass to talking about sheep. I'll let you figure out how Wilson transitioned that.

Wilson has been talking a bunch about demons lately so yes this whole sermon is about demons naturally. You're going to have fun.

Mark Kwong is back for his second sermon at Renew, talking about feeling rejected and the all important feeling of FOMO. Also I was told to say that he is single. So ladies please submit a cover letter.

Are you a Priest, Prophet, or King in your friendships? Believe me it makes sense later in the sermon. Also Wilson drew a sailboat and put the word friend in the boat to make it a "FriendShip".............. just laugh with him, it makes him happy.

Pastor Dave Jung Renew's newest Family Pastor speaks to us about some of the important aspects of David's life and how we can attribute that to ours. Fun fact: I uploaded this while I was at work, ssssshhhhh don't tell my boss.

Paul Kim is back to talk to us about the storms in our lives, if we have little faith, and remind to talk about one of the most heroic men that ever lived. No I am not talking about me, obviously that is a story for another Sunday.

What are we worshipping? That is the best question that sums up todays sermon. No jokes today, this sermon is great.

Wilson preaches on Jesus healing the man with Leprosy and his faith, although I gotta admit while I don't have leprosy I have had this lower back pain for a couple months now. So Lord if you are willing you know what to do.

It's Easter! The day when Jesus Resurrected from the dead, and now we get to eat tons of candy and paint eggs. Ken Yah is here to give some evidence for Jesus's Resurrection.

Renew's new Family Pastor Dave Jung is back with a new sermon this week.

Are You Really Saved? | Wilson Wang by Renew Church OC

Wilson is out of town again (I have no idea where he went this time, I wish my job gave me this much vacation time.....) Anyways so Dave Jung is here talking about Evangelism, and what Jesus meant about Evangelism in John Chapter 4.

Desperate Prayers are so common among us and WIlson really wants to help break down our prayers with us.

Has it been two weeks already? Well Wilson is back from vacation and ready to talk to you about how many masters you have other than God. Sheesh get those priorities straight.

Wilson is still out on vacation but we are graced by his awesome intern (yeah he has an intern, I was surprised too) Mark Kwong. Also I was told to put here that he is single and ready to mingle. So hit him up ladies, just listen to his cool deep voice.

Pastor Wilson is off on vacation, because I guess running a church is super stressful or something. Anyways Mark Saucy from Talbot Seminary is here to continue our look at Matthew.
