Relation-Sips

With a fortieth birthday coming up, Joe decides that he is not a young man any longer. Changes must be made. Maybe changes could have been made earlier, but like they say, "better late than never."

In this episode we invited our son Desmond to belly up to the bar with locally made root beer from Playalinda brewing. We took the RV out had a wonderful weekend. We recorded and edited, and also bumped an episode that we already had recorded just to bring you some fresh content. 

Part 2 of our sit down with David and Alexis is just as fun as the previous episode. The pumpkin beers MAY have taken their toll part of way through this episode. Let's hope it is as fun to listen to as it was to record.

This week we decided to talk to a couple of newlyweds about married life. Digna's mom and her husband are celebrating 1 year of marriage, and have the year-old cake to prove it. We enjoyed some Hell N Blazes beer and listened to the rain drops fall. We also discussed the infamous "Mole man of Malabar." Pour a Sap Tap and enjoy the show.

This week Joe, Digna, and Des talked about their maiden voyage on their new land yacht. Meeting new folks, and encounters with nature were had. The beverage for this morning-time episode was good ol' fashioned coffee. 

This week, we talked about buying a new RV which we used over the Labor Day weekend. We also mentioned a family member's new RV. It is a great week in portable living across the board. 

This week we discussed our longtime neighbor departing for greener pastures, and a new COVID habit of pickling all of our vegetables. Grab a brined radish and enjoy this week's foolishness. 

For our 20th episode we decided to bring in our son, Desmond. When talking to a five year old, you have to alter the show a bit. In this episode we pull out some soft drinks and try to see the world through the eyes of a child.

They say, you can't choose your family. If this is true, the next best thing is "Framily." Before you listen, make sure you go to the bathroom. You'll thank us later. 

What is better that having a drink with one person? The correct answer is a few drinks with a few people. We had our great newlywed friends from St. Louis in this episode, and hilarity ensued. Our previous episode was a peek into why we were gone for a few weeks. This week's episode was more in-depth. We covered Father's Day, Joe's Birthday, and of course Alexander Hamilton. 

We've been away for awhile due to schooling, but now we're back and the same as ever. This semester seems to have a bit better workload. If we learn nothing else in college, time management is going to be a great new skill. 

Since we hadn't recorded an episode in a couple of weeks, we felt like we needed to catch up, and vent about Boolean algebra. We enjoyed a quality beer by Omme Gang brewery. Sit back, relax, and listen to our soothing voices. 

While sitting in out recreational vehicle, we discuss what it is like owning a land yacht. We discuss the pros and cons while enjoying our favorite libations. 

This episode was recorded on Mother's Day shortly after noon. We decided that it would be fun to record, edit, and publish all before the end of Mother's Day. We talked about our son, Desmond who is going to live up to the name, "Man of the World." He has already had a few plane trips. Can't wait to explore with the little guy.

After a many year hiatus, Digna and Joe decide it's time to head back to the institution of higher learning, and learn a new skill. They discuss the difference between college in the year 2000 versus today. To commemorate the return to school they drink some milk cartons... with a twist!

Due to COVID-19 concerns, people are social distancing, and thinking about washing their hands a lot more than they used to. Some people are taking the time to learn an instrument, or do some home improvements. We talk about what we are doing during this time.

Because we were drinking a German style beer, we decided to have a trip down Memory Lane to the time we went to Germany. Due to the time constraints we put on ourselves for this show, we were not able to add every detail, but we did a pretty decent broad strokes  summary. Have a listen. PROST!
