Laine and Meg like desk sex and crushing the patriarchy, and so does Katherine Grant. Overall a fun read, if a bit on the tame side compared to our usual fare.

This book was a serious history lesson with a dang cute and sexy couple. It was a bit heavy on trauma and torture for us, but that's probably not what we'll remember about this book anyway.

Diana and Aaron spend a lot of time at the blacksmith's sparking at one another until they ignite. This novella takes desk sex to a whole new level and we are here for it.

We were expecting an adorable romcom genderswap of Pretty Woman. This is a lot sexier than that.

Laine and Meg finish their recap of The Wallflowers with this tale of a manic pixie dream girl and the guy who is obsessed with her. What it lacks in substance it makes up for in angst-free cuteness.

Laine and Meg grin through this review of an adorable and trope-y love story. Sometimes you just need to read about two compatible people bantering, and this book has that in spades.

This book is really really sexy... and not much else. We had fun, but did feel like this fell short of perfection.

Meg describes this book as all frosting, no cake in the best way and honestly I can't top that. Everyone is adorable, the story is fluffy, and they do get naked eventually.

Laine and Meg really enjoyed the finale to the Bareknuckle Bastards series. This book is fun, sexy, and capable of laughing at its own absurdity, which always wins points in our books.

Meg revisits one of her first romance authors and Laine is highly entertained by the romantic notions of 1986. Brad is a duke who never wants to love and Caroline is a sharpshooter who constantly reminds the reader she's not like the other girls. Oh and guns.

Laine and Meg (and Conner) talk about their favorite romantic plots in video games. Meg likes fidelity and Laine likes bros.

Laine and Meg rave about this novel and Bujold's mastery of her craft. Bujold herself called this book what happens after the happily ever after. What this lacks in explicit sexiness it makes up for in everything else.

Meg and Laine are totally fine with historical anachronisms as long as the book is sexy and fun, which this is. Our only complaint is that we wish it were longer because we could always use more Tessa Dare backstory.

Laine and Meg gush about the Carsington Brothers' perfection and lament how hard it is to be clever about something that's just very very good.

Laine loves fairytale time travel, Meg hates self-absorbed heroines and heros that don't show up until the last chapter. Laine loves the insanity and the nostalgia, Meg hates the suicide pact and the sex death. Join us as we discuss the relative merits and demerits of this book, which was written in 1994.

Trigger warning for child abuse, pandmeics, and dermatological issues. This book can't decide what it wants to be. Parts are Batshit but taken too seriously and parts tackle serious issues but are taken too lightly. Laine's disgusted, Meg's offended, but we ended up indifferent to it in the end.

Laine and Meg rave about swashbuckling romantic heroes, mistaken identities, and doomed love with yearly gestures. If you've never read Prisoner of Zenda, what are you waiting for?
