Obedient Sheep

Have you wondered if God can use you, especially with your questionable past?  In today's lesson, Pastor Daniel reminds us of the lifestyle of Tamar and Rahab, both ladies of the night, and how God redeemed them, used them, and had them listed in the line of Christ.  Proof once more that God can use you for His purposes.

You've heard the phrase, "Age is just a number."  When it comes to who God chooses to use, this could not be more true.  Looking in the Bible, Pastor Daniel will show how God uses the young and old alike.  You are never too young or too old for God to use you.

Have you doubted God?  Have you rejected God?  In the Bible we see examples of disciples, Jesus' close circle of friends, who did just that.  And yet, as we continue to look through the Bible and in history, we see that God did in fact use these men.  In this session, Pastor Daniel again explains that no person is beyond god's ability to use for His purposes.

What's the worst thing you have done?  Have you ever thought that God couldn't use you as a result of it?  In today's session, Pastor Daniel looks at people in the Bible who were murderers, yet God still used them to further His Kingdom.  We are not in bad company after all.

Have you ever wondered - can God really use me?  I know I have.  In today's lesson Pastor Daniel looks at those who may have asked this question based on a low self-esteem.  By looking at the examples of Moses, Gideon, and David, as well as sharing from his own life, Daniel looks to bring the answer of 'Yes' to the question of God's ability to use us all.

It can be easy to lead others outside the home, be it at work, in the community, or at church, but how are you at being a leader within the home?  In this session, Pastor Daniel shares how his mis-alignment with God added to the strain in his working to lead the family, and how desperate one must be to come to God's workstation for a much needed adjustment.

What are the qualifications of leadership in the Church?  According to 1 Timothy 3, Paul gives us a breakdown of what a minister should look like.  How can you be assured that you are aligned for ministry?  And is ministry only within the church.  Pastor Daniel expresses what an aligned Church leader looks like.

Are you looking to be a leader in the workplace?  In looking at the example of Joseph, we can see that while Joseph was taken from the prison to second in command, it all began with alignment first to God.  

Are you looking to be a leader in your community?  Are you looking to make a difference in you area of the world.  While this is a noble task it can only be done when we are aligned with God.  Moving in His ways and in His will allows for the changes He desires.  However, it all starts with our being in alignment with God.

Do you want to be a leader in this new year?  Being a leader begins with alignment - our being in alignment with God.  Before we can lead in the community, church, workplace or home, we must first be sure we are aligned with our Heavenly Father.

Continuing on in his study of Matthew 16:24-26, Pastor Daniel looks at the benefits of dying to self in order that true life may be experienced.  Listen now as Pastor shares from his own life a need he had for air, and how he even still is gasping for breath.

Jesus told His disciples that to truly be a disciple they would need to: deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Him.  In today's teaching, Pastor Daniel explores the truth of these instructions so that we too can be a disciple of Jesus.

For unto us a child is born!  While many would have expected a King, God gifted the world a baby boy who would grow up to be a man, King, teacher, and so much more.  The Christmas story revolves around this baby, and today we take a look at just who the shepherds worshiped and the Magi sought after.

Continuing on in his telling of the Christmas story, Pastor Daniel looks at the life of Joseph.  Joseph had royal blood, but more importantly he knew when God was speaking to him through a dream.  As we dive into Joseph's life we find that he moved in efforts of protection for Jesus all led by dreams he was having.

Beginning a new series, Pastor Daniel looks at the key characters of Christmas, starting with Mary.  She was called highly favored and blessed, but what does that mean?  And what might have been going on in her mind hearing the news of her being the virgin mother?

As Pastor Daniel wraps up his series on Hanukkah, he points out the exactness of Daniel's prophecy of 2300 evenings and how God keeps His word with exactness.  Join us today for this final session on the miracle of Hanukkah.

Hanukkah is known as both the Festival and Lights as well as the Feast of Dedication.  Today we look at the title: Feast of Dedication and see how the dedication of the temple and of the people following the events of the Maccabean revolt still relate to God's people today. 

It is the season of Hanukkah, but what does that entail?  Join Pastor Daniel as he shares the story of Hanukkah and how the Maccabees stood against their foes after having enough pushed on them.

As Paul was on his way to Rome, as promised he would by the LORD, he landed on Malta and got bit by a snake.  Casually he shook it off.  In our life, the enemy will send snakes to bite us and prevent us from the promises God has given us.  In those times, we like Paul, must shake the snake.

In closing his series on Growing Strong, Pastor Daniel looks at the roots of a tree and their relation to the life of a believer.  Without a strong root base the tree is lacking not only the food it needs, but the stability it depends on as well.  Come and listen, and evaluate your own root system in today's teaching.

Continuing on in his series Growing Strong, Pastor Daniel looks at the relationship between what we eat physically and what we eat spiritually.  Just as the prophet Daniel ate his veggies and showed to be wiser than those also in the King's court, so what we eat will aid us in our spiritual walk and in the ultimate goal of growing strong.

Continuing on with his look into Psalm 1, Pastor Daniel compares the wicked man with the details of the blessed man.  How do the two men differ, and what lessons can we learn and apply to our own lives?
