Mosaic Church - Evans, GA

Passover is a Jewish holiday that has been held throughout the ages. And yet, it is the greatest picture the Old Testament gives us of what Christ did for us on the cross. It’s no coincidence that Jesus died just after celebrating Passover with His disciples. So, what does this mean for us today—and how can we fully live in the grace God offers through Jesus, our ultimate Passover Lamb?

In the ninth plague, God released a darkness that could be felt. What does that mean for us today when we feel the darkness? How do we find God's light in the midst of dark times?

We think of salvation as just an individual thing. What if God wants to save communities? And if so, how do we participate in that work?

Have you ever noticed that life is more complex than we wish it was? That we'd like things to be an A plus B equals C equation, but sometimes it feels like a lot more complicated than that. Exodus 5 and 6 begin to pull back the curtains and show us both the depths and complexity of reality, but more importantly, the God who stands behind it and with us.

God is always at work in our lives and in the world. And God is always inviting us to join Him in what He is doing. So, what keeps us from responding to His invitation? What gets in our way? And how can we become free to say, “Yes?” Let’s consider those questions and the answer this Sunday as we gather for worship.

Moses felt disorientation about his identity. But that disorientation somehow drove him to the mountain of God. In a world that feels at times very disorienting, how do we allow that uncomfortable feeling to move us towards God's kingdom?

As we begin a new series, we are looking at what it means to reclaim holy time and space. Whether we are aware of it or not, there has never been a greater market for our time than at moment in human history. So what does it mean to reclaim time, and how does that help create holy space? How do these things find their roots in the early books of the Bible? Join us as we reclaim holy time and space...

We've looked at personal and social holiness. This week, we will look at the mission of holiness. Why does God call us to be holy as he was holy? How does that play into our purpose as God's people?

Is holiness only a personal matter, or is it also something social? What does it mean to care deeply about my own relationship with God while also being concerned for the spiritual lives of those around me? Find out with us!

Contrary to popular belief, holiness is a gift. It's a gift we embody in our person, and it's a gift we live in as the body of Christ. Over the next three weeks, we will spend a brief series on embodying holiness, both personally and as a community.

This week we continue our sermon series on worship by wrestling with a tough question: Just how do Christians go about worshiping God during hard times? When faced with corruption, persecution, and cruelty, what can we do to draw closer to Jesus and to find deeper faith and greater hope? We'll discover that words written to persecuted Christians nineteen centuries ago — by an elderly prisoner in e...

Worship is one of the primary ways that the Kingdom of God advances in the world. We will examine Acts 16:16-40 as a case study in how the Kingdom of God advances through the power of worship. Worship advances the Kingdom of God by declaring that Jesus is beautiful, breaking the chains on our hearts that prevent us from loving other people, and by dethroning the territorial spirits and beasts of o...

Worship is humble. But what is humility? What does it look like to humble ourselves before the Lord, and how does that welcome his presence? Come find out with us!

Marvin Gaye asked us the question, "What's going on?" It's a question that has held strength throughout different ages and stages because we are often aware there is more that is going on, then meets the eye. As Christians, how are we uniquely called and empowered to affect what's going on because of our relationship to King Jesus?

Worship carries prophetic power. It opens us to hear what God is saying and declare God’s word over our circumstances. And God’s word brings order out of chaos. So join us as we learn to step more clearly into God’s prophetic power through worship!

Although Abraham had a personal relationship with God, it was also a missional relationship with God. He and God partnered to begin the overturning of a curse which held humanity captive. And this partnership was lived out through worship.

Worship is? What does it mean to worship God? What is the reality of worship underneath the raising of hands and singing songs? Come join us as we start a new series called Worship Is!

Do you remember stories of churches where they were living in the missions of God, but now they are breaking into battles over very minor issues? The secret to good community is the mission of Jesus Leads. Join us as we read together Paul’s final letter to the Corinthians.

So a few weeks ago, we talked about how the Resurrection is not some spiritual existence in the afterlife. It is God raising up physical bodies for the life to come. But what will those bodies be like? How are they like the bodies we currently have? How will they be different?
