Back together in Brisbane today filming videos for the Rescue Squad and talk about the week that. Excited tomorrow to be spending the afternoon with the families of our lawyers McCullough Robertson learning together skills that save lives and today we added a classic Pink Floyd track to our Rescue Squad playlist.

Stopping to reflect is so important running a business and charity so we took 3 days on the road to pull everything apart, so we can build it back together stronger for the future. Great to also be in Raymond Terrace to meet the award winners of the Positive Behaviour for Learning Awards from the 9 local schools in the area.

The results are in and our May challenge raised $14,900 for Live Learn Survive Charity. As we thank and celebrate everyone involved it’s time to look to the future and the second half of the year for us, starting with a trip to Newcastle next week. You Can Do It is the rules this week as we celebrate our Rescue Squad member Niko and how he has raised over $1600 for Live Learn Survive charity with his 42 miles of walking in May. Maxi talks about his hectic 24 hours at the Fire Station and we talk about the fact that this week it is the Winter Solstice here in Australia but the Summer Solstice in the northern hemisphere.

We did it! Challenges completed, Maxi running his second marathon and Leigh completed her 42 kms of swimming. Back together in Brisbane only 2 days out from our first ever Live Learn Survive Community Safety Day we could not be more excited with a few nerves as we also celebrate Leigh's birthday. Maxi is ready to run his 2nd marathon and Leigh has only one short swim left to complete her 42 km. Enjoy this special weekend catch up with Maxi and Leigh.

Just under 2 weeks to go of our May 42 Challenge and Leigh has just completed 35km of her 42km swim. Gearing up for our first ever event we have never been busier but are so thankful to everyone getting behind us and showing their support, it truly means a lot.  

At the halfway point of the 42 challenge saw Leigh clock up her 20th kilometre swimming and Maxi also rowed 42km at the Fire Station with the 62 Crew. Straight from the pool and totally winging this episode sees Leigh forget to plug in her microphone and lucky Maxi had 2 random facts to keep the show on the road! 2 days to go and our challenge kicks off, the last runs and swims have happened and this time next week Maxi will have run his first marathon. We cannot believe we have 9 separate challengers taking part in their own #42challenge and we have 4 overseas! So the rule this week, left foot, right foot, left arm, right arm, lets Go!

We celebrate Bondi Rescue being back and a feature on Maxi and we talk about all the excitement around our 42 challenge as we are only 10 days away from May.

So the #42challenge training is going well, this week Maxi ran his first 25km and Leigh is clocking up the kilometres in the pool as we edge towards $1500 in donations. This week we also caught up with our Rescue Squad all around the world and finally today Bondi Rescue is back on TV and so are the crowds    

Huge congratulations to Maxi and our friend Piers Craig for winning the Terranova 24 Hour Adventure Race on the weekend. 130kms of running, mountain biking, paddling, and orienteering through the bush and the beach, what an achievement.
