Just Follow Joy

The "Vortex" (coined by Abraham-Hicks) is the space where all of your dreams, wishes, and manifestations exist – and are waiting for you to join them. When you can enter this space, you automatically put yourself on the fast track to getting what you want, in the easiest way possible.  Question is: how do you get, and stay, there? Last weekend, I had an AWESOME freaking day in the vortex – so in t...

The G center in your Human Design chart represents your sense of identity, love, purpose, and direction.  Because this center plays such a pivotal role in how we experience life – it literally holds together your consciousness that is "you," so you can experience life at all! – it's CRUCIAL that we live in alignment with the truth it holds about who we are. I recently had a huge "A-ha" (which turn...

Human Design is powerful because it reminds you of who you really are… but it's actually way MORE powerful because of how it shows you who you're really not (the Not-Self), so you can let that shit go and allow the real "you" room to show up.    That's because the "real you" – your gifts, natural magnetism, intuition, ability to manifest your desires by doing what feels good – is already all there...

Do you love the idea of easily succeeding and manifesting what you want simply by following your design… but feel like you've been doing it for a while, and it hasn't really been "working" (or that it CAN'T really work)?   Here's the hidden key: your subconscious.   The truth is, while Human Design is an incredibly powerful tool, it's not going to be very powerful if your subconscious mind holds...

If you're like most people, some of your gates in your Human Design chart will be in defined energy centers, and some of them in undefined centers.    And if you're like me when I was learning Human Design, you're probably thinking, "Wait… does that like, mean something?"   The answer is: yes, it does – and it's really cool!   So today on the podcast, we're talking about the difference in how thes...

Recently, I've been loving diving into astrology - and one concept I'm especially stoked on is the ascendant, AKA the rising sign, of a natal chart.    If we combine this with Human Design, we can come up with something else that's super cool: your "ascendant gate."   This isn't traditional Human Design by any means… BUT, looking at this within my own design has been so accurate and helpful. So, t...

If you're a 5 line profile in Human Design, you have an aura that makes it much easier for others to project their own expectations and stories onto you. That can be helpful – it helps us fulfill our purpose! – but it can also be challenging – like when we don't live up to an expectation that was never meant for us in the first place, and we get "burnt at the stake."    No one knows this better th...

Our fave 5/1 MG and manifesting expert, Kelsey Aida, is back! In this episode, Kelsey and I chat about the energetics of money, how to attract more of it into your life, and what to do if you're starting from "ground zero" with your money mindset (i.e., you're feeling totally hopeless right now).   THE GOODS Kelsey's money story, how it affected her beliefs about money as an adult, and how she rew...

Today, we're talking about one of my favorite channels in the Human Design bodygraph: Channel 3-60, AKA the Channel of Mutation! This channel is very powerful, and also holds a lot of influence over a chart – it will have a very strong effect on how you are built to experience life, no matter what else is going on in your design.  So if you have this, it's very important to know/understand how it...

Is there something you keep saying you want – money, love, success, breaking free from a habit – but it always seems just out of reach? Or maybe, you keep ending up in situations/with things you don't want – like crappy relationships, unfulfilling jobs, people who criticize or reject you, unexpected bills, snafus in your plans, etc.?  Well, it's very possible it's because some part of you (it's no...

Today, our resident astrologer Caitlin and I take a look at the Big Bad (Misunderstood) Daddy of the planets: Saturn. We talk about what the planet represents, why people treat it like it's such a bitch, what a Saturn return is/what to expect from yours, and how ours are playing out right now. Saturn in pisces, baybeeee! 😎🐟 THE GOODS Saturn in astrology vs. Saturn in HD. They're not exactly the...

Save $100 on the Sacral Success Course when you grab it before April 2! → https://justfollowjoy.com/sacral-success   As generators and MGs, we manifest the awesome things we're looking for in life (whatever that is) by "waiting to respond." Which is great, but veeeeery different from what we've been trained to do our whole lives. So how can we trust that this works - and more importantly, what doe...

Today, Danielle and I talk about the power of walking away from what you THINK you should want, but don't (AKA conditioned desires), embracing what you REALLY DO want, even if it looks wrong (AKA true desires) – and how your Human Design chart can help you tell the difference! This episode is your permission slip to look weird as heck as you follow what feels good + aligned for YOU.  We hope you l...

Do you feel like you've been trying and trying to manifest something by living your design for like, ever, and you STILL just aren't seeing the results you want (and feel so freaking frustrated, because, WTF)? Well, I know this is annoying to hear if you've been with HD for a while, but…  The #1 reason this happens is because we're not actually LIVING our designs – we're just THINKING about them a...

Do you feel like when it comes to manifestation, it's always two steps forward, three steps back (maybe, like, four or five)? Does it seem like you're in a loop where you juuuuuuuust can't seem to break through to the other side of what you want? Do you keep coming up against the same weird blocks, every time you try to create what you want? If this is the case, you might be bumping up against one...
