In this powerful message, Tito challenged us to examine our understanding of Jesus and the hope His resurrection brings. The story of Mary Magdalene at the empty tomb (John 20:11-18) serves as a poignant reminder that our expectations of Jesus can sometimes blind us to His true nature and purpose. Like Mary, we may cling to a limited view of Christ, one that's tied to this world rather than eterni...

In this powerful message, Pastor Javier reminded us of the unshakeable hope we have in Christ. Drawing from 1 Peter 1:3, we explored how our hope is not based on fleeting circumstances or worldly desires, but on the living, resurrected Jesus. This hope is different from the temporary hopes we often cling to in daily life. It's a hope that's alive, growing, and eternal, rooted in God's great mercy...

In this powerful message, Manuel took us on a journey with the disciples on the road to Emmaus, exploring how their encounter with the risen Christ mirrors our own spiritual awakening. The story in Luke 24:13-35 reminds us that often, like these disciples, we walk through life feeling confused, discouraged, and hopeless, not recognizing that Jesus is right beside us. This narrative beautifully ill...

In this powerful exploration of Ezekiel 37:1-6, JD confronted us with the profound image of the valley of dry bones. This vivid biblical scene serves as a metaphor for spiritual deadness and the miraculous power of God to bring life where all hope seems lost. We're challenged to consider the 'dry bones' in our own lives - areas where we feel spiritually barren or defeated. The message reminds us t...

In this powerful message, Tito called us to reflect on our first love for Christ and the dangers of spiritual drift. The sermon delves into Revelation 2:1-7, where Jesus addresses the church in Ephesus. While commending their perseverance and doctrinal purity, He warns them about forsaking their initial love. This parallels our own faith journeys - how often do we maintain religious routines while...

As we explore the DNA of our church, Pastor Javier reminded us of our core purpose: to love the Father, build the family, and multiply the family. This message delves into the heart of true discipleship, emphasizing that it's not just about gaining knowledge, but about transformation. We're called to present our bodies as living sacrifices, responding to God's love with gratitude rather than seeki...

In our exploration of loving the Father, Pastor Javier showed that true worship goes far beyond singing songs. It's about presenting our entire lives as a living sacrifice, responding to God's mercy with heartfelt adoration. Romans 12:1 reminds us that this is our 'spiritual act of worship.' We're called to love what God loves, which inevitably leads us to love others. This love isn't just a feeli...

In our exploration of our church's DNA, pastor Javier reminded us that we are not just a building or an event, but a living, breathing family of God. Our identity is rooted in Christ, and our purpose is to spread passion for His supremacy in all things. We're called to live as living testimonies of God's redemptive power, reflecting His love to a broken world. The key scripture, Matthew 22:34-40,...

As we explore our identity as a church, today pastor Javier reminded us as the church we're not a physical building or an event, but that we are God’s building, the body of Christ, the bride of Christ and God’s family. The scriptures, particularly 1 Peter 2:9, paint a powerful picture of who we are in Christ - a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation.  This identity transcends our earthl...

In this powerful exploration of Ephesians 6:10-20, pastor Javier delved into the spiritual armor God provides for our daily battles. The central message reminds us that as believers, we're not just living ordinary lives - we're engaged in a spiritual war. But fear not! We have been given divine protection through Christ. The armor of God isn't something we need to earn or find; it's already ours t...

This Sunday at Family in Christ, we were blessed to hear from our special guest Haley Reed who shared about Eden’s Hope, a powerful ministry based in Kenya. Eden’s Hope is a home that provides food for children in the community, supports pregnant teens and young women, and offers Bible studies, discipleship, and holistic care. We’re grateful for the opportunity to hear how God is working through t...

In this powerful exploration of truth and atonement, we're challenged to examine our understanding of absolute truth in a world of relative perspectives. The sermon delves into John 18:28-40, where Jesus stands before Pilate, declaring that He came to testify to the truth. This pivotal moment invites us to consider: What is truth, and how does it lead to atonement? We're reminded that Jesus embodi...

In our journey of faith, we're called to be more than just believers - we're called to be saints. This past Sunday our men provided us with a powerful message by reminding us that our identity isn't found in our professions or accomplishments, but in Christ.  They highlighted the fact that as God’s children we’re co-heirs with Christ, transformed by His grace that the Bible serves as our manual fo...

In our spiritual journey, we often find ourselves wrestling with the question: Is Jesus truly worth it? These powerful testimonies challenged us to examine our hearts and priorities. Drawing from the story of the rich ruler in Luke 18, we're reminded how easily we can prioritize earthly possessions over our relationship with Christ. Just as the rich man walked away from Jesus, we too can become di...

In this profound exploration of Christ's identity, Pastor Javier journey through the Old and New Testaments, uncovering the many titles and roles ascribed to Jesus. From the 'seed of the woman' in Genesis to the 'Alpha and Omega' in Revelation, we witness the richness and depth of Christ's nature. This spiritual odyssey reminds us that Jesus is not just a historical figure born in Bethlehem, but t...

In today's sermon we continued to delve into the armor of God, specifically focusing on the 'shoes of the gospel of peace' from Ephesians 6:15. We're reminded that as believers, we're engaged in a constant spiritual battle, but through Christ, we have been given the tools to stand firm. The gospel of peace isn't just about evangelism; it's about understanding our reconciliation with God through Je...

Through our series on Ephesians 6, pastor Javier has unpacked the powerful imagery of the armor of God, on this past sermon by focusing specifically on the breastplate of righteousness. This vital piece of spiritual protection reminds us of two essential aspects of our faith journey: imputed righteousness and practical righteousness.
