Another game for the Timberwolves where 48 minutes of effort is too much to ask for. So Pat does a solo pod and raises some questions about how much of this blame should fall on Chris Finch.

On the back of Jaden McDaniels, the Wolves come back from 18 down to beat the Clippers in the clutch and move to 15-8 on the season!

Brianna joins to break down the Wolves effort against the OKC Thunder. The Wolves played well before having another late game collapse - good but not good enough it feeling more and more like an apt title for the team DVD this season.

The Wolves have blown back-to-back 4th quarters where teams in their positions had 98% and 99% win probabilities. Oh boy.

The Timberwolves fall to 0-6 against teams with a winning record thanks to throwing away an 8pt lead with 50 seconds left. *Sigh*

The Timberwolves improve to 10-0 against lowly teams. While the second half was a pretty atrocious effort, they did what they needed down the stretch and secured a double-digit victory.

Another game against a sun .500 team... another easy victory for our Timberwolves. What else is there to do except for fight about playing time for Rob Dillingham?

Wolves beat Sacramento in THE CUP and then lose to Denver the following night. Pat focuses in on the Denver game and recaps what went wrong for the Wolves as the now fall to 0-5 vs teams with a winning record this season.

With the Wolves having three days off, Mitch and Pat do a statistical deep dive to see what kind of story can be told about the team through eleven games.

After a competetive first half, the Timberwolves get completely outworked by a much hungrier and more physical Knicks team on their to a blowout loss. The only drama on the night: Could Mitch make it through this episode without getting a technical?

The Wolves coast for three quarters on the defensive end before putting the clamps down and beating the least talented team in the NBA. Offensively, all the main rotation pieces from last season had their moments and in the end, even a C+ game is enough to blow out a bad team.

Mitch's son Avery joins to help recap the Timberwolves 122-105 victory. Rudy was dominant, Naz-Dilly-Clark were great off the bench, and it was really nice to not have to sweat out a game against a less talented team.

Mitch returns offers his persepctive on the early season struggles without Anthony Edwards in the lineup. 8 minutes of high IQ basketball will not do it most nights and Austin Reaves gave them the fate that they deserved.

The paramour of the pod, Brianna, returns to offer her first ever regular season award takes. Players are compared to trees and insects, promotions are given, and a new nickname is bestowed upon our most frequent guest.

Sometimes you play a team and their generational superstar decides to have an "A+" game and your chances of winning quickly diminish. Luka Doncic was unstoppable tonight and his offensive game broke the spirit of the Timberwolves.

The Wolves are back and Wednesday night was a perfect reminder for all of us why we'll stay up past midnight watching games. The Wolves faces a Blazers team that was intent on being physical, running in transition, and putting all kinds of pressure on any player handling the ball. In the end, the difference in the game was stated perfectly by Joe Ingles: The Wolves had the best player.

Time to see if the bench unit fares better with some of the rolls. And it is quite possible that in our fictional reality, a certain star player may have gotten a second opinion and another roll of the dice!

And so season 3 begins! Mitch and Pat are back with a unique kind of preview - one held under the rules of chance. They talk about each player's range of outcomes in the season (best, worst and most likely scenario), and then allow the role of the dice to dictate where the Timberwolves season goes.
