For all our long-time listeners this week's episode is extremely special because it's Maui's birthday! The last few years have been crazy, to say the least, but it looks like a new leaf is about to be turned. Maui has some exciting stuff he's been working on and hopefully he'll be able to share it with everyone in the near future!

We might not all have main character energy but I bet everyone has gone through heartbreak or a situation that made them lock in and focus. In this week's episode, Maui talks about how he is motivated more than ever to get in the gym to grind but also level up in other areas of his life.

With Father's Day around the corner, the boys take some time to reflect on their relationship with their dads. Maui dives into what it was like having his Dad coach him in soccer growing up and talks about how impactful it was to his development. Last week the boys went through some scenarios that Waffles' came up with so for this week they decided to discuss some headcanons they've been thinking about lately. Sometimes when we watch a show or read a book we come up with alternative scenarios or possibilities. Well, those are technically headcanons since there's no real evidence for that scenario and it lives in your head! 

In this week's episode Waffles comes in with a well-thought-out situation for Maui. Maui puts himself in this hypothetical situation and tries to progress through any challenges with the information Waffles feeds him based on his answers. In a way, it's a little role-playing or DnD type of episode and we hope all the listeners can think through the decisions they would make in this scenario!

Maui recently got back from a family wedding. The boys talk about weddings and the different personalities within a family. It's even interesting to see how two siblings that grew up together in the same environment can be so different from one another.

Recently Maui has been reading the manga: Tokyo Revengers . While reading, he related to the characters and put himself in their shoes. Looking back on this series, Maui realizes how much he learned about life and himself as the series progressed. It is interesting how anime and manga can teach us many things yet society views anime as childish.

With the first week of 2022 behind us, the boys dive into how they want to grow and what they want to achieve for the remainder of the year. Many people come up with resolutions or set goals for the new year, but there is always a proper way to go about things and an improper way.
