Reviews have become a part of our culture for better or worse. Gossip, communication, disgruntled people, differing perspective. Can you maneuver through the mess without taking it personally and ending up in a puddle of tears? Learn to sort out the constructive from the garbage and laugh as often as possible! 

Like so many, did the stay at home orders make you a little lethargic and puffy? You are certainly not alone! Here are a few tips to get your mind in the right place and your body feeling better. Cheers!   

One of my Covid observations is that when rule and guidelines are given some people will crawl inside the guideline box with no intention of ever coming out. Others even after 14 months may not have noticed that there ever were any guidelines......As per my last email.

When it comes to life lessons, you need not look far. They could be as close as the trail in front of you. Cheers!

The sought after space of your brain is only shared at a premium price. Allowing  a worthless idol to settle in for the duration of the lease is like money down the drain. Let's talk about it!

Why does it seem like bad news spreads faster than good news? Because unfortunately, that's what some folks find most interesting. With self discipline and recognition, we can stop this unfruitful trend in it's tracks!   

When everything and perhaps everyone around you becomes chaotic, you are not required to participate. Practice listening to quiet waters instead. 

As familiar and comfortable as that old box is that you are living in, it longer fits. You are going to have to move.  

Let's avoid eating conspiracy meat. It doesn't taste good and it lacks nutrition! 

As a dance studio or small business owner, it is one thing to create your policies and guidelines. It quite another to enforce them. Together, let's grow in sticking to our guns and gaining respect. 

Each of us is forever the student. The way we use our free time directly effects how productive we will be in our career path. Keep reading and be choosey about what you read. This week I am sharing some good reads.

Many of the issues we find ourselves disagreeing over these days are really not that difficult at the end of the day. Call me simple minded if you like because I am in fact, pretty simple minded but I personally find the simple things refreshing. Jesus encourages us to be innocent and child like in our faith. We can learn SO MUCH from the children.

The world needs the artistic thinker RIGHT NOW! It's a new world and we must build more bridges between the artists and the community at large.

TYGO, PITA, BB may only be terms used in the tiny world of Miss Debbie speak, but you are more than welcome to use them as they may just help you make it through the day. You must not be a BB or a PITA but as a leader, you will sometimes need to practice TYGO. 

When creating and sharing our art with the world, let's generously give it from a pure heart. 

The fun is in the messy creativity. The mature responsibility is in pulling substance out of the mess and bringing artistic product of value to bless our culture and those around us.

The art God has given us to share with the world comes from who we are on the inside. The ups, the downs. All of it, can become rich and real art to touch the world. 

You thought 2020 was crazy? Have I got news for you.

We may not be  getting a "clean slate" on which to launch this new year. Some of our communication seems about as clear as mud in this crazy year, but our hearts are in the right place and we are slipping and sliding forward.

Times are tough. We look forward to the new year and we need the artists to nurture their creativity and arise with problem solving fresh ideas.
