"How long will you waiver between two opinions? If the Lord id God, follow him But if Baal is god, follow him. ...but the people said nothing." Today we look at a Bible story that is one of my favorites from the Old Testament. Sure David and Goliath is good and Jonah is incredible, but this story tells us something about how to live amongst a culture that doesn't respect or honor Go...

HUGE Supreme Court win against Jab Mandates for businesses. And President Biden misquotes scripture while trying to pass a nationwide voting bill.  Meanwhile, 800,000 illegal aliens in New York now can vote. And in DC, you have to show your papers to eat, or do anything, so that's nice. Finally, the Satanic Temple wants your elementary school student to join their after school club where they...

Do you notice some people around you are walking zombies that blindly follow whatever the "experts" say?  Does it seem like no matter what science changes or what common sense or facts you say, it doesn't matter and those indoctrinated just continue to suspend belief and follow blindly? Does this sound like some sort of weird cult that people get trapped in and don't even know...

Go Woke, Go Broke A pithy saying some of us have heard and been using for a while, but sadly, it holds truth. Today we have to highlight two flagship organizations that have recently moved away from the gospel tenant of being "in the world and not of it," to something more like, "following Jesus is hard, let's do what the world is doing instead." Salvation Army took a HUGE...

Bill C4 has just passed all of the legislation in Canada and the potential consequences for the church are explosive. We have been talking about Truth for a long time now. Truth is important. Many people think the Bible says 'all you need is love.' That was the Beatles, not Jesus Now we are reaping the consequences of this ideology. If you are a pastor or counselor or just a believer in...

Philippians 4:4 says: “Rejoice in the Lord always! I will say it again, rejoice!”  Are you full of Joy? Why or why not? Joy is the heart of Christmas.  And the reason JOY is the heart is because of the good news of great Joy that Jesus has come to earth to save us. Advent Week 1 - Hope https://youtu.be/TjgajWlZp04 Advent Week 2 - Peace https://youtu.be/j7JL0r3aRB0 Thanks for listening! At Church P...

What is an abortion sanctuary? Seems like this is an oxymoron like jumbo shrimp or intelligent politician. Not only does Sanctuary reference the holy place of the church, but it also historically refers to the protection of those seeking refuge from people attempting to do them harm. The definition, like so many others, has done a complete flip flop where sanctuary now refers to a place where you...

“Silent night, holy night, all is calm, all is bright. Round yon virgin, mother and Child, Holy Infant so tender and mild, sleep in heavenly peace, sleep in heavenly peace.” Week 2 of Advent here at Church Public. This week we are talking about Peace. The peace of Christ. The peace that Jesus brings that ONLY comes from him. We all long for peace, but there is sadly so little of it. Wars in the M...

Abortion is better than adoption?!?! The left has gone so far in this demonic abortion argument that ANY resistance to full abortion on demand at any stage causes them to commit to whatever argument is in front of them, however insane it is. In todays episode, we look at NYT contributor Elizabeth Spiers  Self proclaimed 'Democratic digital strategist' She makes the case that abortion is...

The Truth Hurts Twitter names a new CEO who is interested not in the truth, but in what causes harm because now we have two different world views when it comes to the truth.  Does the truth actually set you free or if the truth hurts, should it be removed? "You will know the truth and the truth will set you free." Jesus in John 8:32 Thanks for listening! At Church Public we create compel...

Advent is a traditional Christian practice that reminds us how much we need our Savior Jesus Christ. The word Advent means ‘visit’ or ‘arrival’. Today we remember the arrival of Jesus to this world. Many of your kids have the little calendars with chocolate in them marking each day until Christmas. This practice of Advent is a weekly reminder marking the arrival of Jesus into this world and lookin...

The Tragedy in Waukesha, Wisconsin has left 6 dead and dozens injured. The media is saying things like 'a car drove through a Christmas parade' and a 'tragedy caused by a SUV.' Is this what happened? Did a random unoccupied vehicle drive itself through a parade? Or was there a driver who intentionally swerved into old ladies and children trying to cause as much carnage as possi...

"For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened." - Romans 1:21 If you have been watching the news or reading the news or if you are under 40, chances are you were taught that the pilgrims and the first settlers of America were racist and genocidal and colonizers who murdere...

I am happy that the court of justice has done its job.  I am sad that the court of public opinion has been irrevocably damaged by a lying media hellbent on pushing a narrative of hate.  Brothers and sisters, we must come together and pursue truth, even when it is uncomfortable. If you are hurt and confused by this trial, do more research for yourself and don’t listen to the media. They are not obj...

Biden recently visited with the Pope and proclaimed 'The Pope is happy that I am good Catholic and should keep receiving Communion.' However, 222 out of 233 Catholic Bishops disagree. Is this a problem and why do I care if I am not Catholic? We continue on the wild ride of Catholic Communion and the Sanctity of Life versus the leftist policies of abortion promoted by top politicians. Wel...

Self proclaimed Queer Christian artist Semler hits #1 on iTunes Christian charts. Is this the future of Christian music? Is this artist even Christian? What defines a Christian? What is the standard that we use to determine what is our ideal and what are the issues? Do you define the standard? Does culture define the standard or is there a God whose son is Jesus and through the power of the Holy S...

According to a new study from the Arizona Christian University Cultural Research Center, 75% of Millennials are desperately seeking meaning and purpose in life and this has led to them questioning purpose and even, sadly, their very reason for living. Today we remember the Sword of Damocles and then look at what the Bible has to say about meaning and purpose in spite of circumstances. Here is a li...

You cannot be conservative and pro LGBT revolution. LGBTQ and Conservative are mutually exclusive ideas, yet the RNC Pride Coalition has now created moral liberalist conservatism. If that sounds confusing, that's because it is. We also talk about Microsoft going full woke and the tragic Travis Scott concert. Thanks for listening! At Church Public we create compelling content to equip you to f...

I've received a bunch of confused messages and have been talking about CRT for some time, but wanted again to try and wind through the confusion. And there is a lot of confusion, especially after the VA election. The message is: Critical Race Theory, while not ever taught in any schools is really super important and must be taught in schools at all times so children realize how racist they re...
