These days, my healing process looks like meeting my 5 year old self and chatting with her. I ask her what she wants to say and what she needs to feel safe, seen, and loved. In this episode, I talk about my journey with inner child healing and give you all a glimpse in...
When you're the cycle breaker 06.03.2022 20:19
A cycle breaker is someone who is actively breaking generations of trauma, hurt and karmic lessons. They're like a stop sign, or dead-end for relationship patterns, toxic behaviors, and addictions. It's where a shift in the lineage happens. Being a cycle breaker is no easy task and it comes with great responsibility, isolation, guilt, and shame. It also comes with a lot of joy, love, and liberatio...

She talks too much 20.02.2022 19:54
Calling everyone who was told that they talk too much on their report cards. This episode is for us. In 2019, I was chosen as a speaker for SheTalks and for my talk, I decided to speak on the shame I carried around my voice and its expression. In 2022, I decided to re-read myself that talk and reflect on how far I've come with that shame. What I found is that I've come a long way in embracing my v...

Truly loving yourself means looking in the mirror and recognizing that sometimes the one creating drama and chaos in your life is your own damn self. Your job is then pointing at those parts in the mirror, picking up on your bad habits, asking yourself where they are coming from, and holding yourself accountable for the mess they may have created. The self-love part is doing all of this with gentl...

Unapologetically, me! + Horsepowar 21.11.2021 44:50
Committing to learning more about yourself and then showing up as that version of yourself to the world can be hard. Practicing being yourself unapologetically and allowing the world to see the fullest expression of yourself is something that takes a lot of courage. What also helps this process is seeing others who are also practicing the same. In this episode, we get to meet Horsepowar, someone w...
Re-writing our own stories + Bali Deol 14.11.2021 39:03
Growing up, I didn't see healthy models of self-love. Seldom did I see people who were committed to loving themselves, or even remotely interested in exploring what it means to love themselves. Now, as an adult when I see people, and especially brown women embodying the practice of self-love, I'm in awe and so keen on knowing more about their journey. Bali Deol, aka Lady B, is an example of a brow...
Mindful Eating + Preet Bains 07.11.2021 33:28
Why would Harpo be hosting a conversation on nutrition and mindful eating in a season where we are exploring what it means to truly love yourself? In this episode, I chatted with Preet Bains, founder of Aura Holistic Health and a registered holistic nutritionist, and what we found is that self-love and mindful eating go hand in hand. Our nutrition and what we eat directly relates to how we feel ab...

I am the love of my life. 22.08.2021 15:18
I am The One. We spend our whole lives looking for “The One”, our soulmate, our eternal lover, the one who is meant to complete us and hold our hand through this human experience. But I’d like to propose that, while I do strongly believe in finding “The One”, the One is not anyone else, it’s you. You are your own soulmate. Like BGG? Dating as a badass woman 15.08.2021 13:22
Often, I'm left with two choices when navigating intimate partner relationships: dim my light to cater to make room for a partner, or stand strong in who I am and run the risk of never finding a partner who will fan my flames and not stifle them. In this episode, I get candid about my experiences with dating as a badass woman, which frankly has not been rainbows and flowers. Like BGG? Connec...
It's not me, It's you 08.08.2021 15:13
Being rejected, broken up with, and ghosted is hard. While we know all of the above make us sad, what we don't talk about enough is how all the above can really be detrimental to how we define ourselves. In this episode, I explore how being rejected, broken up with, and even ghosted has left imprints on my self-worth and what I'm doing to avoid that moving forward. Like BGG? Connect with us...
To all the boys I've loved before 01.08.2021 10:12
Welcome to Harpo's Love Life: A Series of Misfortunate events. It’s taken me an incredibly long time to get to a place where I can see these misfortunate events as lessons and not mistakes. It's taken me an incredibly long time also to see that everything had to happen exactly the way it happened for me to become this version of Harpo: one that is self-aware, confident, secure, and so in love with...

In this episode, I get to show you all a side of Asad Khan aka Khanvict that you might not be acquainted with. You all know that the premise of BGG is for me to show my own journey back h...
Life as a journey, not a destination + Manvinder Dhak 18.07.2021 37:23
For so long, I was someone who ran from goal post to goal post. I had a list of things I wanted to achieve and a strong attachment to the end result, while completely bypassing the actual process. In surrendering to the flow of the universe, I've learnt to become friends with the journey of my life and to stop seeing it as one destination that I am chasing. In this episode, I chat with Manvinder D...
Character development + Arnie Sandhu 04.07.2021 32:07
Arnie Sandhu has gone thru tremendous shifts and transitions, especially in the last year. He’s gone from Arnie McFly to Arnie Sandhu in front of our eyes and has created a space for himself that seems brand new to us, but if you ask him, has been a long time coming. In this episode, I ask Arnie about his character development. It left me feeling so confident and fulfilled about my own character d...
