Back to the Barre

Welcome back to our REWIND series! Christi and Kelly are going back through the archive, re-editing, and re-uploading our old episodes — in order, from the very beginning of Dance Moms. This week, they’re revisiting season 1, episode 5 (“When Stars Collide”), where the girls are getting ready for the ALDC showcase, a Broadway agent is coming to watch… and somehow, the moms end up being forced to p...

Christi and Kelly recap Dance Moms season 5, episode 24 — “West Coast Strikes Back,” where the ALDC’s rivalry with MDP starts feeling a lot less like friendly competition and a lot more like a real threat. This week, Abby is back in Los Angeles, MDP is at the same competition, and Erin Babbs knows exactly how to get under her skin. Between the “monster” routine, the American Girl doll made to look...

The Housewives cheating video was real after all, and Christi and Kelly have plenty to say about how the Real Housewives of Rhode Island finally handled it. This week on BTTB Reality Exposed, we review episode 12 of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island "The Ferry-Tale Is Over." The cast heads to Block Island, where Jo-Ellen is still being treated like the problem even though Brian is the one everyo...

Welcome back to our REWIND series! Christi and Kelly are going back through the archive, re-editing, and re-uploading our old episodes — in order, from the very beginning of Dance Moms. This week, they’re revisiting season 1, episode 4 (“Stealing the Show”), an episode that still feels heavy because it brings them right back to one of the first times the show stopped feeling fun. At the center of...

Christi and Kelly recap Dance Moms season 5, episode 23 — “Maddie vs. Mackenzie,” where Mackenzie FINALLY beats Maddie… and everyone’s reactions become the big story.  Instead of letting Mackenzie have her moment, things get weird. Super weird. Melissa is emotional, Maddie is upset, and Abby turns the whole thing into a lesson about “losers.” These reactions tell you everything there is to kn...

The Rulla cheating rumors are taking over The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, and at this point, Christi and Kelly are watching the same way everyone else is: waiting for somebody to finally say what is really going on. Rosie keeps pushing the cheating video, Rulla keeps trying to make sense of it, and Rulla’s husband keeps giving answers that somehow make the whole thing feel even messier. First...

Christi and Kelly recap and react to Dance Moms season 5, episode 22 — “Live From LA, It's Kendall K.” Kendall's big music video premiere has finally arrived, giving Jill the moment she had been chasing all season. Christi and Kelly revisit the event at Universal Studios, the pressure surrounding Kendall's debut, and the constant comparisons being made between Kendall and Nia's music careers. Look...

Christi and Kelly recap and react to Dance Moms season 5, episode 21 — “Dance Moms Down Under, Part 2.” The Australia trip continues, but this episode feels different from a normal competition week. There is no usual pyramid-to-competition rhythm, and Christi and Kelly both point out that the whole thing feels a little off. Instead, the episode follows the team through Australia as Abby plans a Ma...

Episode 9 of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island ("Questionable Behavior") has Christi and Kelly asking the only question that really matters with this show: what are we actually watching here? After Rosie and Kelsey’s blowup, the show tries to move forward, but Christi and Kelly still feel like the show drama feels less real and more like production handing people props, lines, and reasons to fig...

Christi and Kelly recap and react to Dance Moms season 5, episode 20 — “Dance Moms Down Under, Part 1.” The show heads overseas to Australia... but without Abby, who gets left behind after losing her passport. Of course, that doesn't stop her from controlling everything from thousands of miles away on the phone. She yells at Melissa over the phone, questions whether the whole team was even invited...

Episode 8 of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island finally gave people the fight they knew was coming: Rosie and Kelsey ended up face-to-face, scraming over each other, and throwing out insults left and right. But... how much of this "fight" was real? Christi and Kelly have some theories on whether it was actually spontaneous or maybe, just maybe, production helped set the whole thing up and the gir...

It’s a Dance Moms reunion episode, which means nobody is walking in relaxed and nobody is leaving unscathed. Holly gets sent out first, and that alone tells you what kind of episode this is going to be. Christi and Kelly break down the tension around Nia, the way Abby turns adult conflicts into kid punishment, and the strange reunion logic where everyone knows what is really happening, but no one...

Come see us live!! www.x1entertainment.com/bttb "I feel like we're consistent in the mocking of Jill." Christi might be talking about her outfits, but "Showdown in Pittsburgh, Part 2" doesn't do Jill any favors when it comes to giving her plenty of mockable moments as well. I mean is it already week three of Jill trying to convince Holly she should be grateful for what Abby does for Nia? Like WHIL...

THE TEA ☕ We're back, and this time we're EXPOSING episode 6 of Housewives of Rhode Island. We talked about this show last week, but we got A LOT more to say this time. We get into Kelsey’s confusing boyfriend situation, the blurred-out “political family” man, and whether the whole moving-out storyline had more going on behind the scenes. Using our own TV experience, we'll tell you what's real an...

THE TEA ☕ We're back, we went to Washington D.C., and we finally figured out what a selfie stick says about your influencer era. (Spoiler: Kelly is thriving.) WHAT WENT DOWN First things first — Kelly got a Pro Max and we need to talk about it. The home button is gone, the cameras are fancier, and somewhere out there, Abby's iPod Nano is still buried under McDonald's wrappers in the back of a car...

We have prevalent camel toe!" Well not all the group outfits can be winners, but at the very least sometimes the dances can be! It's time for the ALDC to make a better first impres...
