Awakenings

"I’ve selected my favorite tracks of the moment and blended them into a one-hour mix that perfectly defines my sound: fast, driving techno with trance-influenced melodies. With this mix, I wanted to take you on a journey, starting off accessible, gradually building tension, and finishing with high energy, leaving you hungry for more. The mix also features my latest release No One Else on Exhale, a...

"138 BPM throughout. A raw, hypnotic, and driving podcast focused on bringing great music together in a meaningful way. The idea was to let different producers and their ideas coexist, overlap, and interact, creating new rhythms and subtle nuances rather than letting tracks run on their own. A lot of attention went into selection, timing, and precise frequency work. Every transition and filter mov...

"2025 has been a very special year for me. Debuting at Awakenings was a big milestone, and ending the year with this podcast feels like the perfect way to close it. What you’re about to hear shows a more raw, powerful and mature side of me. It’s a one-hour trip through techno, acid and trance, with touches of psytrance, a sound that has always inspired me and that I blend in my own way. The mix in...

"This mix is my journey over the past years. The sound that shaped me and that made me to the DJ who I am now. All my favorite genres and no compromises. Taking a lot of risk in the mix but also that's part of the ride I think". "The question I’m most often asked is about “my sound.” As a versatile artist, it’s exciting to find myself moving between many different genres, but I’m happy to share this piece of work that best captures who I am musically. After a few years of searching, I feel like I’m finally planting myself within a soundscape that feels authentic and exciting. Driving percussive energy, playful acapellas,...

"In my sets you will always find that perfect balance of both new and old. This mix is no different, encompassing my beloved 90s tribal techno intersecting fresh percussive soundscapes from some of my favourite new producers. And it wouldn't be a Yasmin Gardezi mix without splashes of trance treasures melted in. This set is everything I stand for, high voltage energy interlaced with nostalgia & eu...
