The gospel saves us from the wrath to come! This explains the dire need sinners have of the gospel! To deliver us from the wrath our sins deserve. Not a popular topic, but one that is true and one all of us need to hear. Praise God for the gospel that saves us from the wrath of God! Praise God for sending the Lord Jesus to bear that wrath in the place of sinners on the cross!

The absolutely essential necessity of Saving faith in order to access God's righteousness in the gospel. So important! We do not have righteousness to offer! It comes to us as a gift in Christ alone through faith alone!

What kinds of righteousness will you stand before God trusting in when He summons you before Him in death or at the final judgment of the world? Your righteousness? This sermon highlights the only righteousness God will accept and it is the righteousness of the life of Jesus Christ! Through faith in Christ His righteousness is imputed or given to us so that we might stand justified in God's sight...
