Hail on Three

THE COMMANDERS ARE IN LONDON. AND SO ARE WE. Hail on Three goes international(ish) as Josh and Lee record the pod together in person for the first time in a while - from a pub garden bench in deepest Suffolk, with a pint of Guinness, an Aspalls and a surprisingly lovely October afternoon. And there’s a game to talk about. Marcus Mariota is confirmed as the starter for Sunday’s London showdown with...

0–2. Jayden injured. Season over. Fire everyone. See you next year... Then Washington goes and beats the 12-game winning, Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks 33–31 in one of the maddest games we've watched in a long time. Josh and Lee are back to bask in the most unexpected Victory Monday imaginable, breaking down how the hell it happened — Sonny Styles forcing turnovers, Kaine Medrano going...

There’s no point saying good morning. Jayden Daniels is injured again, the season already feels like it’s slipping away, and the fallout from another brutal loss to Dallas leaves Lee and James wondering where Washington goes from here. The guys go completely off-script to discuss Daniels’ injury, the state of the defence, Adam Peters’ draft record, Dan Quinn’s future, the decisions that have led t...

The Commanders are heading to Dallas for Week 2 - and after a narrow loss to Philadelphia, the boys are feeling surprisingly confident about this one. Josh, James and Lee preview Washington’s first divisional road game of the season, including the state of the secondary, the challenge of containing CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, whether the Cowboys rivalry is still alive, and what we need to see...

The Commanders fall 24-22 to the Eagles in a gut-wrenching Week 1 defeat - but there’s plenty to like despite the loss. Josh, James and Lee break down the two-point conversion attempt, Jayden Daniels’ encouraging return, David Blough’s first game as offensive coordinator and the frustrating lack of involvement for Terry McLaurin. But the biggest positive? We have a defense. An aggressive new-look...

The vibes were high. Then they weren't. With the 2026 season just over a week away, Josh and James return to assess the state of the Commanders after a worrying end to preseason. The offensive line - particularly center - is causing serious concern, the cornerback room is looking increasingly threadbare, and the 41–3 loss to Baltimore hasn't exactly helped calm the nerves. Lee joins from a...

The Edwards brothers are back for a two-man edition of Hail on Three, with the NFL season creeping closer and actual Washington football finally back on our screens. There’s running back i...

The boys are finally back after the summer break, and there’s plenty of Commanders football to catch up on. We react to Washington’s late addition of Stefon Diggs and what he could mean for Jayden Daniels, Terry McLaurin and the offense, before picking out some of the less-heralded free-agent signings we think could make a big impact this season. There’s also plenty from training camp, including t...

Draft day is here. Josh opens this solo pod with a tribute to Sean Taylor, setting the tone for what a true defensive game-changer looks like, and why that’s exactly what Washington should be chasing at pick #7 in the 2026 NFL Draft. From there, it’s three clear themes: What we want to happen – a blue-chip defensive star to anchor the future? Love? What we think will happen – realistic scenarios,...

The draft is almost here… and things just got interesting. Josh is joined by Lee (live from Chicago) for a full-on NFL Draft preview as we head into Thursday night. There’s praise for the approach Peters...

From Jeremiah Love draft buzz to Sunny Styles rising boards, the guys explore whether Washington should go edge,...
