Venus is Retrograde and your two friendly Venus in Virgos take a stab at peeling away the layers. With our proprietary blend of astrology and Gene Keys, we give a last look to the retro taking place in Scorpio. Go deep little Moon Crabs!! And remember, the venom is part of the cure. Is there anything more maddening than having technical issues and not a Mercury Retrograde in sight to blame?  We had to cut this one short, but not before Joanna reminds us we all have skin in the game, and Andrea explains everything about Gene Keys and their crystal correspondences. Equinox is incoming everyone - move that energy and reset the routines while the seasonal wheel transitions once m...

Not that we expected to have fully collected ourselves after that last eclipse - and - here comes more astrology. (Yes, we know, there is always astrology but this is one not to miss.) Jupiter trines Saturn, and we have an invitation to actually build some structures for our soaring beliefs and optimistic thoughts. It’s a good time then to examine our beliefs conscious or not - and for which ones...

You know how insurance plans have an open enrollment period where you can go in and change your benefits and contributions and whatnot (we have heard this is what happens in employment environments anyway). This is how an eclipse wormhole feels. There’s just a little bit more energy and disruption loosening the gears and things feels a little more malleable…or chaotic. Which really just means ther...

Any good astrologer will tell you no fast moves in an eclipse wormhole – so we make the conversation real easy and observational cuz the topics are heavy enough: death, past memories that are maybe best incinerated, parents and aging, praan sutras, clean bills of health (for now?) Leggo my ego Leo! Leogo? Thanatos and Ash.    We cut the density with some fond nostalgia – there’s stuff worth keepin...

Welcome to Eclipse Season! We are your hosts for all things astrological and disruptive! Before we get too distracted by any of the obvious ecliptic, we wanted to single out our ally and companion, quietly doing the work of love, balance, right relationship, beauty and grace: Venus in Libra. Because typically - the woman’s work is always overlooked and overshadowed by the combustive eclipse and ma...

Blessed Lughnasadh, a day where we give thanks for things not being worse. Our conversion takes us through probing questions of free will, past / present / future timelines, and can we make a quantum leap without some devastating crisis opening up the portal of opportunity? We celebrate our teacher and friend Guru Jagat who shed her mortal coil also on this day, but her naad and cackle will foreve...

We are back after a brief retrograde into summering like we’re the kind of people who summer. Covering the wide range of topics of this continuing astrological Basket, creative darlings that you thought set out for space never to return but now they are back, brighter and more dazzling than ever, or maybe asking you complete the mission. Leo season brings with us a new nodal shift, and a very loud...

There is CERNtainly a lot of astrology kicking into high gear this summer and Joanna breaks it down for all of us to understand a little better. We also discuss Disclosure Day - mainly to admit we haven’t seen it yet - and we welcome Jupiter into Leo after that wet blanket of a Cancer year. We are also excited to blame everything bad on CERN whether it’s running the Hadron Collider or not because...

We didn’t mean to leave you hanging since our last podcast in December 2024.  And it turns out no one really missed much - 2025 wasn’t exactly a year many of us would care to remember. And! It had its moments.  Really through, we just thought it might be nice to start recording our conversations again.  In this episode while we talk the usual astrology, crystals, Gene Keys and yoga talk, we of cou...

If we have learned anything in this life of Truth or Consequences, it’s that even the most Careless Whisper is getting recorded on some distant (or not so distant) star in space - or in a memory file - or deep in a subconscious junk mail box clogging up a chakra that’s basically going to show itself in every day life.  So that’s fun, right? And that’s not to say we should all be paranoid that ever...

“You are not required to enter the neurotic patterns of anybody…including your own” Guru Jagat (we would add content, election coverage, fiction, non fiction, propaganda, social media…) “We are born to create, so when we create we are happy, and then we treat each other better. That in and of itself is revolutionary.” Guru Jagat “Don’t look around for the leader in your life - it is you.” Guru Jag...

Hello and good day from our “interstitial” episode - not directly related to the TMZ feature that actually ISN’T showing up on anyone’s “HBO recommends” watchlists - and we do still have things to say about hashtag Guru Jagat and hashtag cult life…Hashtag whatever gets us more attention and ratings! (Hashtag “I was the cafeteria worker for a cult” Hashtag “I was ogled by a politician” Hashtag what...

The veil is thin and so are the storylines as we meet on All Hallows Eve to discuss the second installment of fan fiction and literal magazine television. Origin stories, imposter syndrome, sexdrugsandrocknroll, folk wisdom, sound bites, and a guided meditation made to look really, really weird and sinister with red lighting and dramatizations of women in white veils shrieking up at the sky. We ge...

We take a few beats and discuss the E! True Hollywood story of our yoga teacher now deceased, and actually at rest in Hollywood Forever Cemetery - so technically it’s all on brand (isn’t THAT something to think about as we approach Samhain and Day of the Dead.)  As ever we step back and have a conversation respecting multiple perspectives - trying to anyway - on a shared experience that produced V...

Pluto is direct and everyone is in its path. What does not kill you, cover you with sand, wipe out your property, blow up relationships, bring you to your knees and then kick out the scaffolding underneath you…doesn’t kill you. Congratulations! You’re still alive! Game on! Everyone is going through it - really. Truly. Everyone. Understand with Compassion or you Mis-Understand the times. And if you...

As we volley such topics as victim/villain/hero (the new animal, vegetable, mineral?), stability, balance, the 55th Gene Key and so much more, we acknowledge we are mere drops in the ocean of a collective besieged by war, hurricanes, fires, and an election cycle. But we’re trying to be good drops, healthy drops, since the part is in the whole and we’d like to bring good dishes to the potluck. All...

We contemplate frequency, creative acts and downloads, the “perfect” setting for meeting the Muse and engaging with flow (pssst - everywhere is perfect when the Muse shows up) Astrocartography and the new Taschen book just released, “Sacred Sites.” 🧬🧬 Gene Keys Live Stream September 28-29   Andrea Wright, Crystal Curator 💎 @thecrystalsituation thecrystalsituation.com theliminalandmineral.com Th...

There’s so much going on in the skies and the world…is it no wonder we seek refuge in tennis documentaries and the Gospel of Gilmore Girls. Lean into the gifts and the shifts of these cycles as we move from Summer to Fall in the Northern Hem - and for all of us we get balance with Equinox, and free psychic surgery with the eclipses. It was a murkier retrograde we just exited (Andrea’s been dying t...

In the final waning hours of Leo Season we get right down to it and talk about FOMO, how it plays in life, decision making, and reviewing those decisions. Fear sells itself, so buyer beware. But fun sells itself too, so the question is - what do you want to have the bigger experience of. ♍️ Virgo Season Astrology + Crystal Grid custom reading & report with Joanna and Andrea. Joanna and Andrea regroup on the podwaves after dropping off their energetic recycling in Paris and Boston respectively.  The question always remains - how long can the junk drawer stay empty and/or can we just fill it with not-junk thoughts, patterns like self-trust, self-acceptance, inspired action, and calculated risk/opportunity. Also, if your inner child calls, maybe just assure them there’s...

The re-views are in for this week’s Theatre of the Absurd and we are still chewing on our Twizzlers (or Red Vines for you west coasters), wondering do we stay in our seats and make this a double feature? The planets have the left the building and we are left with our babysitter the VCR, and Uranus answering the phones. Nobody cares about you more than your own higher self, so maybe turn off the TV...

In case you’re wondering why the excessive length of this particular episode - we can only say that when the intention of discussing a solar return birth chart is preceded by a swift deep dive into the 80’s, Gen X, the Brat Pack ET CETERA…you get a very lively double helix strand of conversation that truly stretches into infinity.  A CHALLAH if you will. An endless summer challah. We could’ve name...

Happy Cancer New Moon from your mistresses of mirth, intention setting, emotional narratives and a friendly reminder to never give anyone the keys to your unhappiness. If the feels get a little too feelsy and the thoughts springing out of them create a drama you are not interested in playing in - there are tricks to get out of that. At the very least, here in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s summer....
