Sermons by Brandon Current
I am passionate about the role of the local church in God's kingdom. I love to care for my flock, from children to seniors, helping them grow in the grace of God, know his mercy deeply, and live lives of purity and in consistent demonstration of the fruit of the Spirit. I take pastoral ministry very seriously with the day of my account before God in mind at all times.

Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 -Faithfully Proactive in Uncertainty 18.10.2026 38:40
Because we cannot control or comprehend God's providence we should not be overconfident, over-cautious, or wait for certainty. Instead, we should do good broadly, give generously, and work diligently, humbly trusting God to provide for us and through us.
Psalm 51:10-19 - Cleansed by the Blood of the Lamb (Part 2) 11.10.2026 27:33
A Return to Biblical Repentance In Part 1 Psalm 51:1-9, pardon and cleansing, dealt with this necessity, that David, a believer and every human being needs. Part 2 Psalm 51:10-19 shows David, and we as well, also need an inward renewal, the creation of new heart and a steadfast spirit. The desire and appealing to God for these, show our repentance is genuine repentance.
Psalm 51:1-9 - Cleansed by the Blood of the Lamb (Part 1) 04.10.2026 31:17
Psalm 51 is the prayer of a man who is repenting of his sin. But we must remember that what we have in this Psalm is not simply the thoughts of David, rather, this is a sample of human repentance as it is given under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. God is using David's experience to illuminate what repentance looks like, for the benefit of believers throughout the ages.

Mark 4:21-34 - Four Signs of a Fruitful Life 27.09.2026 39:56
Following Jesus isn't about looking perfect on the outside or just going through the motions. Real spiritual growth happens from the inside out, creating a life that is noticeable to others, has lasting consequences, grows in its own timing, and multiplies in amazing ways. By clearing away life's distractions, we can focus on simply sharing God's love and trusting Him to handle the results.
Ecclesiastes 10:1-20 - Walking the Path of Wisdom without the Strut of the Fool (Part 3) 20.09.2026 30:28
There is much in this life that produces a sense of pointless frustration and helplessness, but we add to our sorrows through foolishness. Wisdom teaches us to accept the order God has established, to be diligent and thoughtful in our work, to govern our appetites, and to keep careful guard over what we say.

Ecclesiastes 10:1-20 - Walking the Path of Wisdom without the Strut of the Fool 06.09.2026 43:02
There is much in this life that produces a sense of pointless frustration and helplessness, but we add to our sorrows through foolishness. Wisdom teaches us to accept the order God has established, to be diligent and thoughtful in our work, to govern our appetites, and to keep careful guard over what we say.
Ecclesiastes 9:13-18 - You Can Either Be Right Or Remembered 30.08.2026 38:11
We often give honor to a faulty list of values which deceive us off the path of wisdom. Wisdom from God is humble, soft-spoken, yet mightier than brute force, though often overlooked and even despised. By bringing our heart in alignment with the values of the Kingdom of God that Jesus taught in the Beatitudes, we will learn to follow the voice of wisdom - even when it flows from unlikely sources.
Ecclesiastes 9:1-12 - Our Hope is in Grace not Works 23.08.2026 44:03
Meaningful satisfaction and simple unshakeable joy in this life comes from letting go of striving to earn God's approval and being anxious about whether you have it or not and instead resting in the wonder of undeserved blessing and the confidence of his unearned love.
Ecclesiastes 8:1-17 - The King Doesn't Answer to You 16.08.2026 46:45
God has placed authorities over us, and wisdom teaches us to submit to them rather than rashly or defiantly oppose them. We should be slow to presume that we understand the consequences of their decisions—or even the right time and manner in which to respond. That same humility prepares our hearts to respond to God's providence: His rule may at times seem perplexing, oppressive, or unjust to us, b...
Ecclesiastes - 7:23-29 - Why Wisdom Stays Out Of Reach 09.08.2026 42:35
Mankind cannot by pure reason discover the meaning of life. Wisdom remains far off because we are held in the grip of sin. Deliverance cannot come by our own study and observation - but must be a work of grace to deliver us from the distortions in our heart. The path to a satisfying life must be personally revealed to us by God; life's Author. Therefore we must stop groping for God by our own idea...
Ecclesiastes 7:15-22 - Wise Perspectives: Moral Humility 02.08.2026 38:09
Righteousness does not guarantee freedom from suffering and death, but wickedness and folly can greatly increase our suffering and even shorten our lives. Since none of us is without sin or beyond criticism, we should humbly fear God instead of trusting in our own righteousness or giving ourselves over to sin. Moral humility keeps us from both self-righteous pride and reckless despair.
Ecclesiastes 7:7-14 - Wise Perspectives: Mental Pitfalls 26.07.2026 53:22
Good living requires clear thinking, which requires being aware of the circumstances and attitudes that distort or bias our view; the distortions of suffering, pride, anger, nostalgia, fatalism, and a faulty view of God's providence.
Ecclesiastes 7:1-6 - Wise Perspectives: What good is Sorrow? 19.07.2026 40:15
Paradoxically, the good life is one that embraces seasons of sorrow and keeps the reality of death in view. Rather than distracting yourself from difficult seasons or wishing them away, prayerfully allow God to use them to align your heart and priorities with his.
Ecclesiastes 5:18 - 6:12 - What is a Blessed Life? 12.07.2026 37:28
Every human heart carries an appetite that nothing in this world can fill. Only God can satisfy the soul.
Ecclesiastes 5:1-7 - Step Slowly, Speak Softly, And Draw Near in Truth. 28.06.2026 45:29
God is high and holy and ought to be approached with the upmost reverence. There must not be any insincerity in our worship, but rather humility and faithfulness. Ultimately, our security rests not in what we bring to God, but in what he gives to us.
Ecclesiastes 4:13-16 - Today's King, Tomorrow's Tyrant 21.06.2026 35:26
Ecclesiastes 4:13–16 warns us to remain teachable, resisting the self-contentment of success that isolates us from others. It exposes the fickleness of human popularity, showing that we must value truth above power, influence, and wealth. Ultimately, this passage illustrates the vanity of life - even the most inspirational success stories are eventually overturned. If we are to find a satisfying u...
Ecclesiastes 4:1-12 - Life: Better Together 14.06.2026 43:15
In a fallen world marked by oppression, misadventure, hardship, and futile striving, one of life's greatest earthly gifts is deep, faithful relationships.
Ecclesiastes 3:16-22 - God Is Dealing Out A Better Death And Judgment 07.06.2026 41:52
This life is filled with injustice, even at the highest levels, and ends in death for everyone. Yet, God has a purpose even in this: that we may repent of mankind's rebellion against God as the standard and enforcer of all human activity. Then we may find satisfaction in living a life that conforms to his righteousness. In light of the gospel, we find our ultimate trust in Christ's resurrection an...
