So often Life changes in an instant. We wonder – what is God doing? We are confused. Today we will see how that plays out with Mary. Fear.  A natural response to a perceived threat. We have all felt it and Mary the mother of Jesus was just as susceptible to fear especially when she heard she would be the mother of the long-awaited Messiah. But for Mary, she handled her fear differently. She surrendered her will to God’s will and that might be the best cure for fear known to man.

Favored by God. We think being favored by God means a new car, a big bank account, and a month-long vacation at the beach. If you ask someone if they think they are a sinner the answer is usually yes – but I’m not THAT bad of a sinner. I’m not as good as that person but I’m way better than those other people.
